@CentralGermany Probably the smartest comment in here ( Following @The5thPentagonMade ).
You're pretty correct about your opinion, but we must consider that Hyperant decided the ideology system to be based on rather a levelled system instead of a separate one. (In case you don't understand, I'm talking about the fact the Nationalism ideology tree leads to Fascism as a stronger ideology.)
Well maybe, the problem is that Roblox is not cool with Fascist symbol very much.
Obviously. Still, I propose they could've used something else instead of a cultural symbol. Maybe a Valknut or something. Could make more sense with the meaning behind those symbols.
@PrivateWriter0 ok but seriously what the hell were they supposed to use otherwise? Flag with the coat of arms of the firsrt German Empire was probably the only good choice, as that was the first manifestation of actual German nationalism (very different form of nationalism that the Nazi german nationalism but still nationalism)
@PanzerundLancer Who knows. Literally even the Iron Cross would've probably been way better than the double-headed eagle. It's a military symbol, after all.
@PrivateWriter0 in a similar manner to how socialist flags can be used for communist e.g. Vietnam
We can also have nationalist flags that aren't fascist
The Frankfurt assembly symbol is pretty important in German history they used it.
They aren't saying it was fascist
It's just that making Both fascist and nationalist flags would cause a dynamic flags clog.
@PrivateWriter0 the creator of the flag quite literally did use the iron cross, and Roblox WARNED him for it.
@Beester master What would you propose in that case? The German Empire from 1848 didn't have a fascist regime at all and it all seems to point out that the only alternative that was left on the table is not allowed by Roblox.
I think it's fine
It doesn't disrespect imo as it's supposed to be a nationalist flag not a fascist one
Fascist only uses it because of game mechanics.
If I remember correctly a nationalist German political party from before ww1 used the teutonic order symbol.
So maybe just that on a german tricolour.
What do you think?
