^^^My genuine reaction:
Second Guangxi-Guangdong War/Yue-Gui War
Prelude
In December 1936, Chen Jiongming narrowly avoided assassination wihile attending the tomb of Lu Ronting. It was revealed that Guangxi leader Ma Ji, wanting to assume leadership of Liangguang by force, was behind the failed assassination. Thus, later, Chen appeared in front of the Guangdong Provincial Assembly to rally them to take down Guangxi and to defend their hard-earned liberties. The diarchy subsequently collapsed, and the clique plunged into civil war.
War
Half of the Liangguang army defected to Ma Ji's cause, heavily crippling Liangguang's ability to fight. However, this loss would be mostly negated with Chen's strange but ultimately successful stratgey. He would have most of his men defend a front line, while some of his units would find a gap in Ma's line and race through the open territory, capturing key supply areas and major cities. Though, some of Ma's units realized this, they attempted to halt their advance. To counter this, Chen would just simply order a different unit to march on in an alternate direction. Ma's units couldn't even relay Chen's advances due to their poor communication. It was only when Liangguang troops arrived at the outskirts of the provisional capital of Nanning, when Ma was alerted of their presence by the city's police, had he realized what was going on. However, there were no available units at Ma's disposal that he could order to redirect to Nanning to hold an impromptu defense of the capital. They were either out of contact, in battle, or too far away to reach the capital. Out of options, Ma attempted to hastily flee the capital. Unfortunately for him, though, he was found and captured by Liangguang soldiers in the southeastern outskirts of the city. Humiliated, Ma was forced to announce the surrender of he and his armies, bringing an end to the brief and anticlimactic civil war.
Aftermath
Thanks to Chen's tactics, both sides suffered minimal losses, with only roughly 30-70 men dying on each side. Ma's soldiers and even some generals, it was decided, would be reintegrated into the Liangguang army or permitted to return home, as most simply wanted to defend their homes from invaders and bandits. Now, with nobody interfering with his rule, the Governor General would set out on his quest to build a federal, democratic China.
Alternate history cooking (Chen has plot armor)
Why the symbol have to be related to Fascist, it could be Nationalist.
@CentralGermany Probably the smartest comment in here ( Following @The5thPentagonMade ).
You're pretty correct about your opinion, but we must consider that Hyperant decided the ideology system to be based on rather a levelled system instead of a separate one. (In case you don't understand, I'm talking about the fact the Nationalism ideology tree leads to Fascism as a stronger ideology.)
Well maybe, the problem is that Roblox is not cool with Fascist symbol very much.
Obviously. Still, I propose they could've used something else instead of a cultural symbol. Maybe a Valknut or something. Could make more sense with the meaning behind those symbols.
@PrivateWriter0 ok but seriously what the hell were they supposed to use otherwise? Flag with the coat of arms of the firsrt German Empire was probably the only good choice, as that was the first manifestation of actual German nationalism (very different form of nationalism that the Nazi german nationalism but still nationalism)
@PanzerundLancer Who knows. Literally even the Iron Cross would've probably been way better than the double-headed eagle. It's a military symbol, after all.
@PrivateWriter0 in a similar manner to how socialist flags can be used for communist e.g. Vietnam
We can also have nationalist flags that aren't fascist
The Frankfurt assembly symbol is pretty important in German history they used it.
They aren't saying it was fascist
It's just that making Both fascist and nationalist flags would cause a dynamic flags clog.
@PrivateWriter0 the creator of the flag quite literally did use the iron cross, and Roblox WARNED him for it.
What do you think?
