Please can someone add the actual Rol Naath territory and try releasing it from Sudan too. I'm busy.
I did it again, using the same tactics and starting as the Congo. Was able to form it 7 years earlier than last time!
Originally, the Sokoto Caliphate kept me from expanding, but he left which meant I could just take all of his land. the EU had North Africa, another concern, but he left and released all his countries. So I was able to form.
Lot's of good luck. But then my friend joined the server, and another dude also joined and started re-forming the EU but kept targetting my friend (which I think is against the rules) I steamrolled the EU and reversed colonization by taking Spain, France, and the UK. (I ended up ceding Spain to my friend since he was Patria Grande and I wanted the irony of South America conquering Spain)
With all this said and done, I didn't have much else I wanted to do. Persia took most of the middle East, Patria Grande took the Americas, and Asia splintered into a million bits. So I decided to kick back, invest in research, and begin developing and adding forts.
Thanks to my now enormous bank account and my huge stockpile of Steel (strangely I was in an oil deficit probably due to using thousands of tanks to take EU) I was able to fortify EVERY. SINGLE. CITY. on the African Continent (and in parts of Europe) making them insanely OP.
After that, I maxxed out development on all 1200 of my cities, creating this cursed image:
Your eyes do not deceive you. Every single city is at Tier 8. Which meant that Africa was more developed than most of Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. I fully reversed the effects of colonization.
Average city in the African Union in the 2050s:
Burundians seeing their village of mud huts turn into a fully-fortified, ultra-modernized urban metropolis in the matter of a few years:
Now THIS is Congo-maxxing.
Any thoughts?
First time:
Started as: Nigeria
Doctrines: Jungle Specialization
Years it took: 29
Notes: Japan had taken South Africa, so it took a bit of time as the North Sea Empire and I had to take out Japan, which was painful and slow. I also didn't know as many meta strategies as I do now.
Second Time:
Started as: Democratic Republic of Congo
Doctrines: Massed attack, switched over to Jungle Specialization.
Years it took: 28
Notes: I discovered the meta doctrine of going into massed attack doctrine, maxing it out, and switching to specialization so I could have lots of manpower for a lower price per unit while also having experienced troops. (It's especially useful early game since Congo starts with volunteer conscription, and it takes 200 political points to change that) Luckily, not many foreign powers had taken a chunk out of Africa.
Except for the Empire of Brazil that had taken Sierra Leone for its titanium. Luckily, I had 22 million troops, and the Brazil player had left, so I was able to take him over easily and gained territory and money.
After this, I declared war on the USA, taking him over was pretty hard and I lost lots of manpower and got high war exhaustion, but I prevailed. Sadly, as soon as I was about to force-peace and take all of his territory, the game disconnected me. And since I was the only person in the server at this point, the server shut down. So I was unable to rejoin :(
Anybody got any thoughts or suggestions? I'm relatively new to this game so I still have a lot to learn.

We all know that Mongolia gets the most core population for a single nation without assimilating. But for a bit (before I did my calculations) I believed (for some weird reason) that the title actually belonged to Tunisia. Here's my reasoning: Tunisia has 5 formables: The Arab League, Islamic Caliphate, African Union, Carthage, and the Hafsid Dynasty. Four of these formables alone can provide a staggering population for a small country like Tunisia. If you combine their core populations all together, you get 514,303,361 base core population. For reference, the Mongol Empire gives you 687,500,717 base core population. So there you have it. Little Tunisia can get to be quite strong if you're good enough (To which I'm not). But hey, maybe you can bring Tunisia to its destined greatness in Rise of Nations! For the math nerds who want to critique my calculations, they're right below:
Tunisia = 4,843,173
African Union - Arab countries = 269,701,880 - 62,507,422 = 207,194,458
Islamic Caliphate - Tunisia = 284,432,932 - 4,843,173 = 279,589,759
Carthage Territories - (Spain + Arab Countries) = 22,675,971
4,843,173 + 207,194,458 + 279,589,759 + 22,675,971 = 514,303,361
(Numbers indicate base population)

We have successfully declared war on Eswatini following the faking of a train explosion going to Botswana via Eswatini. This was a justification for war so we declared. But now generals, we must decide where to actually go.
What will we do? To the west, it's hilly and medium-defended. To the east, it's flat but riddled with traps. What's your strategy?
So far there are only 2 generals. @PanzerundLancer and @BritianForeverXD . But we are in need of more generals to handle invasions, especially in large scale battles. We will need at least 4 generals to handle stuff in invasions.
Enlist in the South African Panzer Division (SAPDI) Today!
Since this will be vote based we will need to have generals for deciding where to go and what to do on invasion. So we will have discussion in comments on who should be general from the wiki users on RON wiki. Who do you think should be general?
