Basically, just a post that I will maybe find strategies to speed run nuclear oblivion. I joined the fandom and was scrolling until I found "nuke% speedrun" kind of just thought it would be fun to find strategies for the speedrun. The entire speedrun is dedicated to being the fastest one to drop a nuke (and it working) on an enemy city. (Note: probably not even a real strategy just some tips for probably faster nukes) Also I quite literally don't know any glitches to make the run faster or increase money so this is no glitch strategies currently. All findings footage will go on RoN Nuke% Speedrun - YouTube unedited (Map ODSU - Outdated SetUp / CSU - Current Set Up / T - Tips / F - Findings or More Tips / UT - Untested tips / ODT - Outdated Tips) You can find stuff easier if you press Ctrl + F and look for the thing you want on the map. Starting with Ideology-Specific events, I think some events should and should not appear depending on your ideology. It doesn't make a lot of sense for ''monopoly formation'' to appear on socialism or communism, now does it? So it should be changed to where that only appears in democratic or fascist nations. Not only should some events only happen to certain ideologies, but new events meant for certain ideologies should appear as well. Some of my ideas below:
Liberalism/Democracy
Public Elections, changes stability and certain stats. Your options would be something like ''Elect an economist figure'' or ''Elect a foreign policy expert''.
Liberalism/Democracy/Non-Aligned/Nationalism/Fascism
Labor Unions Form, where labor unions will consolidate in your nation and give a modifier corresponding to that.
Socialism/Communism
Illegal Market Formation, illegal markets and private businesses emerge and increase tax income while lowering stability.
Now, let's get to policies.
Yes, I know there are already policies which can only be used if you're a certain ideology, but I believe the way these policies behave should be changed. There should be two sections for the policies, ''Policies'' and ''Ideology Policies''. ''Policies'' would be policies which every nation can do such as infrastructure act, welfare act, etc. ''Ideology Policies would be policies that appear and change depending on what ideology you are, meaning that there's more strategic policy gameplay regarding your ideology. Some ideas I have below:
Nationalism/Fascism
Irredentist Propaganda Program, lowers justification time.
Ban Immigration, lowers chance of ''economic growth'' and other good economic events but increases stability.
Fascism
Genocide Minorites, will decrease base stability by -5 initially but will lead to massive stability gain over time. Unrest in non-core territory will increase heavily.
Autarky Act, will increase the price of resources you buy from other nations by 4x, but increases your internal tax income and resource gain.
Socialism/Communism
Economic Planning Act, lowers tax income and resource gain but increases building speed and factory output.
Enforce Wealth Equality. increases tax income but lowers stability gain.
Communism
Complete Collectivization, increases stability and manpower gain but slightly lowers construction speed, tax income, and resource gain.
Liberalism/Democracy
Encourage Immigration, attracts more immigrants and thus increases the chance of good economic modifiers.
Expand Voting Rights, increases chance of election events and increases stability.
Liberalism/Democracy/Socialism/Communism/Non-Aligned
Citizenship Act, expands citizenship thus decreasing unrest in occupied territories.
