@PanzerundLancer You can never get tired of destroying people in RoN.

Most useful tip: Dont play Antares in stronghold gamemode, you cannot win.

Another useful tip: Play this game casually, dont try too hard, its not worth it. Even if you are the best player ever, it will not make a difference if you have a bad team.

Useful tip 3: Dont waste planes crashing into ships while screaming kamikaze in chat, no one else on your team thinks wasting planes is funny except you. And it doesnt work, your probably not gonna hit the ship, and even if you somehow do hit the ship, you probably wont sink it.

Well thats because the majority of people people have no brain. Your team would always win if like 1/4 of the people had brain matter inside of their skulls..

Yes this game good, ive played it for a while now

Chat is slightly less chaotic than naval warfare, people still dumb.

Much more varied gameplay and graphics than naval warfare

Used to lag really bad but they fixed it.

And the best thing is that is that you cant p2w in the game, so you dont have like 3 people sitting in the harbor spawning acs every 3 minutes like in naval warfare.

@Bobbyjoeno It usually isnt regional powers like germany. Its usually some minor power like Greece or Austria that would build an elec factory on every city and sell like 150+ electronics.

Selling electronics was not without its issues, but removing the feature is also a problem.

I mean I haven't played this game seriously in a while, back when I did it selling electronics was mostly casual like an average of like 2 factories per country.

I decided to check back on the game a few days ago. And electronics selling was getting ridiculous. Like half the server was racing to build like 5-8 electronics factories. Early game was more of a race to click sell 100 electronics to the only AI superpower. After that the 3 guys that got the big trades would probably just immediately blitz everyone else before they could finish selling to other smaller countries.

The whole game just relied on clicking slightly faster than the other people to perform an insanely overpowered trade.

I dont really like how things are now, but I feel like this will be a good opportunity for Hyperant to make gameplay more varied. Maybe revamp trade or introduce better money making methods.

Or if Hyperant doesn't want to spend the effort doing that he could put a much smaller less limit to countries, like basically dont make AI countries buy as much as they can earn.

@Kidney Studio This wasn't really a guide for that but ok. Make 2 electronics factories, 1 steel and 1 motor factory. In technology, get factory output 2. Buy all the resources needed to run the factories, sell the electronics to AI countries, spam tanks. Also switch to massed attack doctrine.

After that get 1 fertilizer and 1 civilian factory, maybe an aircraft one too. Switch to socialism

My point was to try not to declare wars that will probably get dragged out for years and hinder economical development and colonization of other continents.

The only early game invasion you should do in early game is invasion for defense, if someone wants to invade you. then you can do a first strike and try to stop him, maybe with some allies that also want to stop the expansion of that country (not likely, most people just dont seem to be able to team up against threats)

Just dont declare war for the sake it, if you dont have a clear and probably achivable goal for the war, dont do it.

If you are countries like Uk, Italy and Spain, you will probably be able to avoid all of that early game chaos more easily, in order to develop and colonize, eventually coming back and blitzing the severely wekaned enemies. This ofc relies on everyone actually fighting and not just germany taking over everything, in that case, it would be better to try to annex germany with allies before he comes to you, like I said above.

You probably will be spending every second trying to stay alive as an Eastern european country, so dont think about developing cities and colonization until germany and russia are dead.

Another topic: There are 2 ways an ally can screw you over. The first one is declaring war on an ally and bringing you into wars, You can prevent the first type by unallying Ands and not having 20 allies. I acutally do this when going to war with other players often.

The second one is when a person you are at war with adds your ally to the war. This is rare, but I would be careful if a neighboring ally looks like he might want to invade you, and consider not declaring war on players. Alternatively, you could unally the suspicious ally for the 2 year truce and invade the other country anyways.

I knew about this one for a while, but I had to learn this the hard way a few times before I started caring.

Yea but a long term ally is more of a non aggression pact than a defense one and the chance that a long term ally will help you is slim. And short term, most people probably wont help.

The threat usually doesn't ally you and is ultra expansionist. Trying to team up and suddenly rush a bigger player is usually my last resort to save myself.

Plus I would never place my hopes of surviving partially on another player unless I really needed to.

I believe in declaring war on someone before they do it on you, so they aren't that prepared.

Im talking more about a "hes probably gonna finish up with that person and come after me within a year" type of situation, for example when germany is lining up troops on the border with poland and you are france. In that situation, you dont have time to go invade algeria and spain or develop cities, the only thing you can do is finsih up any other wars and spam tanks to rush him, and maybe get uk to help you.
