Bad book Idea: "The Door to Door Dentist"
Set in the late 1890's, A dentist resident In Portsmouth named Gabriel Jørgens goes to people's doors by apointments made with telegraph or simply visiting said places and asking if someone had a toothache, the lad had a friend named Roylott Hullmunster (who was kind of a casanova) owner of a 5% of the Royal British Dental Company, thus becoming an effective duo where scurvy cases were the lowest of the nation.
One day, after a party, Gabriel's sister, Daisy, informs that his brother had commited /killbind and this devastated Gabriel.
So when he was kinda forced to do the autospy he found out that his lower jaw's teeth had tobacco particles, despite his friend never smoking. So this means his friend Roy either had a double life or that was not his corpse. Gabriel decided not to leak the news but rather wait an answer from both Roy's Boss, Lord Karius of Sunderland, and from Roy's Mother, Violet.
Lord Karius states in a cheeky paranoia that his own company tried to murder him because Roy knew the secrets of a warcrime incident in Chile and pointed 3 suspects of the company as murderers of Roy, Meanwhile Violet states that she knew Roy was the type of guy to lie about tobacco and that he has caught him doing stuff. So, who will Gabriel believe? Lord Karius? Or Violet?
A few investigations after (which btw the cops were giving interrogation questions to Gabriel disguising them as casual chat meanwhile he attended the suspects as a dentist.) maybe a romance of Gabriel and Daisy, and maybe some Portsmouth FC shenanigans...
We come to the end of the book, where it turned out that there was a conspiracy behind Roy's Workplace and that his teeth with tobacoo were from a chilean copper miner and that Lord Karius was also one of the conspirator if not the head master. So, the day is saved blablabla... and Gabriel will now be employed a full time job on London as a Very recognized Dentist. The end
