| — Description of forming Antillean Confederation |
The Antillean Confederation is a formable located in the the Caribbean Sea. It is comprised of 
Cuba, the 
Dominican Republic, and 
Puerto Rico.

The Confederación Antillana or Antillean Confederation was the vehement idea of Ramón Emeterio Betances about the need for natives of the Caribbean to unite into a regional entity that would seek to preserve the sovereignty and well-being of Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. Supporters of the idea wanted to free Cuba and Puerto Rico, later uniting them with the Dominican Republic, creating a united Spanish Caribbean nation, an idea that had a significant level of support in these islands during the mid-late 1800s. Some supporters even wanted to include 
Haiti or 
Colombia into this union, however this was not supported by all.
Many of the generals who fought in Dominican War of Independence and against later Haitian invasions, the Dominican Restoration War against 
Spain, the Cuban War of Independence, Ten Years' War, the Little War, and the Puerto Rican Grito de Lares uprising, supported this idea. Support was strongest from the 1850s up until the Spanish-American War, which transferred the colonies of Cuba (briefly) and Puerto Rico (until Present day) from Spain to the United States, since then the support for the idea largely faded away.
Its main idea was to subsequently end European colonialism in the Americas 
as well as a response to the Monroe doctrine phrase America for the Americans, which Ramón Emeterio Betances changed into Antilles for the Antilleans. The main gathering point of the idealists was San Felipe de Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

The Antillean Confederation is flat and hilly, and all its land has Jungle biome.
Threats[]
Mexico expanding. (Common)- Confederate States of America trying to form Golden Circle. (Uncommon-Rare)
- United States expanding or wanting to reintegrate Puerto Rico (as it is a core state of the United States, thus locking them out of forming anything like the North American Union.) Or them playing after you fast liberate Puerto Rico and taking you back. (Common-Uncommon)
- Any Spanish New World country forming Patria Grande. (Rare)
- United Kingdom wanting to expand into more of the Caribbean after forming the British Empire. (Super Rare-Insanely Rare)
Strategy[]
Playing as Cuba[]
The best country to form this is obviously Cuba. So at the start of the game make an 
Electronics, 
Motor Parts, and 
Steel factory. Buy the then sell them to AI.
After you'll have enough for 600 Tanks to be made, justify on Dominican Republic, after that declare war on the Dominican Republic, and auto capture with tanks. Alright here's the hard part. Since the 
United States has Puerto Rico. Its best for you to buy it from the US/borrow it from the US. The US will probably agree due to the lack of resources, and it will be done in no time.
However. If the US refuses to give you Puerto Rico. It will be a huge challenge, so get some strong allies and declare war.
Playing as the Dominican Republic[]
Dominican Republic is also a good country to play as.
First of all what you want to do is take Cuba with around 130K troops, and if you really want to push it maybe 290K, (Maybe make some tanks too, just to be a bit quicker). As above, ask United States for Puerto Rico. If they accept, great! You can now form! If they do not though, if 
Canada and 
Mexico are players, they might accept your offer of giving land and maybe you can ally 
China for backup.
Playing as Puerto Rico[]
Since Puerto Rico isn't a starting nation, you have to release it.
Play as the United States and justify a liberation war on 
Bermuda. Since you're a democracy, this will be super quick. Now send a bunch of troops and take over Bermuda (in the meantime, develop cities in Puerto Rico's core cities). Proceed to Fast Liberate and release Puerto Rico.
Make a Steel and Motor Parts factory (buy the resources necessary). Make tanks then invade the Dominican Republic. Lure their home guard and auto-capture their land. Then invade Cuba by landing 1 division of tanks in Nueva Gerona and another in Guantánamo. Proceed to lure their home guard and auto-capture.
Tip[]
Train your troops for Jungle specialization before invading the countries required.

- The term "Antilles for the Antilleans" in the decision description refers to a phrase by Betance that was meant as a response to the Monroe Doctrine phrase "America for the Americans"[1]
