Armenia is a Tier II nation located in the Caucasus, in Eurasia. It borders Azerbaijan to the east,
Iran to the south,
Turkey to the west, and
Georgia to the north.
Background[]
Because Armenia is strategically located between Europe and Asia, it has been part of many of the great empires throughout the history of the world. These include the Greeks, Romans, Assyrians, Arabs, Persians, the Ottoman Empire, and the Turkish Empire.
In 800 BC the area that is now Armenia became part of the Kingdom of Urartu. which flourished until 600 BC. At this time the Kingdom of Armenia was established under the Orontid Dynasty. Between 95 and 66 BC Tigranes the Great ruled the Kingdom of Armenia. During this time Armenia reached the peak of its power becoming a great and powerful nation.
In 301 AD, Armenia became the first country to adopt Christianity as an official state religion. The church it established still exists and is not part of either the Roman Catholic or the Eastern Orthodox churches
After being ruled by many different empires and nations, Armenia became an independent state between 1918 and 1920. However, in late 1920, the Soviet Union invaded. In 1922 Armenia was made part of the Soviet Union. With the fall of the Soviet Union, Armenia was once again able to declare its independence. It once again became an independent country on September 21, 1991.

Threats[]
Georgia and

Russia trying to form the
Soviet Union or the
Russian Empire.
Iran trying to form the
Persian Empire
Uzbekistan trying to form the
Timurid Empire.
Turkey expanding.
Strategy[]
As Armenia your first major threat is Russia as they are most likely a player and want to form. Try to ally them, but if that doesn't work try
China or
Germany. Always watch out for
Turkey. Build
Electronics and sell them to an AI. This will boost your economy. Then, conquer the other caucasus nations to form
Transcaucasia. Next you could either go aggressive or defensive. If you want to go aggressive, build some recruitment centers for extra Manpower (if you haven't already) and invade Central Asia (if Russia hasn't gotten there already). Alternatively, you could invade
Iraq if Turkey hasn't already or go over to Europe and take
Bulgaria and expand from there. If you want to go defensive, build forts and position artillery and well-trained infantry on the border. Investing in planes is also a major help. You may also want to build some ships to guard your coastal boarders if your enemies have taken parts of Central Asia or Europe. If you are invaded, hold out the best you can. Be sure to use your terrain advantage and white peace as soon as possible.
