— Description of forming Assyria |
Assyria was a formable of Iraq in the Middle East. It borders
Turkey,
Iran,
Kuwait,
Saudi Arabia,
Sudan and
Libya. It is surrounded by many threats like
Egypt,
Turkey,
Iran or even
Saudi Arabia.
Background[]
The Assyrians were one of the major peoples to live in Mesopotamia during ancient times. They lived in northern Mesopotamia near the start of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The Assyrian Empire rose and fell several times throughout history.
The Assyrians first rose to power when the Akkadian Empire fell. The Babylonians had control of southern Mesopotamia and the Assyrians had the north. One of their strongest leaders during this time was King Shamshi-Adad. Under Shamshi-Adad the empire expanded to control much of the north and the Assyrians grew wealthy. However, after Shamshi-Adad's death in 1781 BC, the Assyrians grew weak and soon fell under control of the
Babylonian Empire.
The Assyrians once again rose to power from 1360 BC to 1074 BC. This time they conquered all of Mesopotamia and expanded the empire to include much of the Middle East including Egypt,
Babylonia
Israel, and Cypress. They reached their peak under the rule of King Tiglath-Pileser I.

Economy and Manpower[]
The economy in Assyria is a really great one, with a base income of $3,595,831, which mostly comes from Iraq and
Egypt. The manpower is also great, with a maximum manpower of 1,298,557. This is great for fending off countries which are looking to colonize the Middle East and the north of Africa
.
Geography[]
Terrain[]
The terrain is Hilly in Lebanon, northeastern
Iraq, and in most areas bordering the Red Sea with the exception of northeastern African
Egypt. Everywhere else is flat.
Biome[]
As it is in the middle east, almost all of Assyria has the Arid biome. The exceptions are most of the area surrounding the Nile except for two southern cities, central and northern Israel,
Lebanon, and northeastern
Syria, which all have the normal biome.
Cities[]
Assyria boasts 108 cities with a total population of 64,927,819. Only 12 cities can produce tanks because their population is over 1 million. The biggest city in Assyria is Cairo with a population of 11.8 million. The capital is Baghdad.
Strategy[]
To form Assyria, you should first justify war on Syria and
Jordan. The first threat you will meet is
Turkey, to defeat
Turkey, you should make a lot of tanks because they probably already justified on you to form
Ottoman Empire. Once they declare war, kill all their troops with your tanks and you should be able to get rid of the threat. After you defeated
Turkey, you should annex
Syria and
Jordan, then you should justify on
Lebanon and
Egypt. Then you meet you're next threat,
Egypt.
Egypt is 70% a player in a public server so you have to be careful. If
Egypt is an average player, you should do the same strategy with
Turkey. If
Egypt is experienced (and survived), then arm yourself until you get a deficit. Get ready for waves of
Egypt infantry by making some forts, artillery and infantry. Send a division of 1k of tanks (or 2k if possible) to cross the Nile River and get
Egypt from the down part (note:
Egypt likely won't have submarines because it takes too much time. But if he has it use your destroyers to destroy). Set your troops to auto capture so it will make a hell to
Egypt get their cities back. Note: make some destroyers so it gives you troops naval assistance. When
Egypt has zero troops you take the division you send to the fort and start annexing them. If
Egypt is big and has all the upper Africa, you are screwed. If
Egypt has
Saudi Arabia you are screwed. Do not let
Egypt get big. (Tip: annex
Turkey for more MP and tax gain). Having access to the Bosphorus also allows you to expand more easily into eastern Europe and the Balkans.
