It is a country with the largest geographic extension of Amazonian plains and lowlands, mountains and Chaco with a tropical climate, valleys with a warm climate, as well as being part of the Andes of South America and its high plateau areas with cold climates, hills and snow-capped mountains, with a wide biome in each city and region. It includes part of the Pantanal, the largest tropical wetland in the world, along its eastern border. It is bordered by Brazil to the north and east, Paraguay to the southeast, Argentina to the south, Chile to the southwest, and Peru to the west. The seat of government is La Paz, which contains the executive, legislative, and electoral branches of government, while the constitutional capital is Sucre, the seat of the judiciary. The largest city and principal industrial center is Santa Cruz de la Sierra, located on the Llanos Orientales (eastern tropical lowlands), a mostly flat region in the east of the country with a diverse non-Andean culture.

Strategy[]

Alright, you're Bolivia. What next? First off, justify on Peru and Paraguay immediately. Peru holds Gold, something you need for Electronic Factories, and it is required to form Bolivia's main formable, the Peru-Bolivian Confederation. Paraguay is not really useful, it's weak and has no resources whatsoever, but no point in not taking it, right (just be wary of a Brazil trying to form the Empire of Brazil)? Anyway, your priority is Peru. Once you've justified on it, invade it (be sure to send a few troops for a Paraguay invasion). The terrain will cause slowdowns, and the Arid biome will result in more losses. Be ready for this. Researching mobility technologies for Infantry will help.

There's someone we haven't talked about yet. Anyone know who it is? I know, Brazil! Brazil at this point will likely be setting its sights on Argentina and you. If you captured Paraguay, Brazil has another reason to invade you. Be ready. Brazil will, like every Brazil player, spam infantry, so entrenchment and biomes must be used to you advantage. One way you can do a lot of damage is by falling back to La Paz or Sucre (your capital). Both cities are in Arid biome and hilly terrain. Build fortifications on either city, and station at least 100k troops. Spam artillery through the nation, and weaken Brazil's troops as they march through Bolivia. Building 10k-20k infantry in every city and entrenching can deal additional damage and waste Brazil's time, although this will be expensive. Artillery, the terrain, biome, and having to fight small entrenched divisions will result in heavy losses for the Brazilian side. This may not be enough for victory.

If you did survive, you probably have a decent-sized army. March in a straight line to Brasilia (the Brazilian capital), and siege it with arty to weaken entrenched Home Guard before invading it. You should now hold Brasilia, the Brazilian capital, resulting in a stability hit to Brazil. It should be fairly easy to hold, given that your arty and a large army and hilly terrain will result in good damage. If you don't want to hold Brasilia and want to move to a better defensive position, choosing a medium-sized city in Jungle biome is a good idea.

This strategy may be expanded. WIP

Threats[]
