The Central Asian Union is a formable consisting of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan. Any of these listed countries is able to form the Central Asian Union if they conquer each other.

Background

The concept of a Central Asian Union emerged soon after the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991. Although all states acceded to the newly formed Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), it was felt that more regional cooperation was needed.

The three remaining republics, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan signed a treaty on 23 September 1993 to create an economic union. In theory, any CIS member state could join the Central Asian Union.

A new Central Asian Union was proposed by Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev on April 26, 2007, in order to create an economic and political union similar to that of the EU encompassing the five former Soviet Central Asian republics of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

Although the proposed new union had the support of the presidents of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan by 2008, it was outright rejected by former Uzbek President Islam Karimov. After Karimov died in 2016, however, the idea of integration was brought back on the table.

On 15 March 2018, a new Central Asian Summit was held in Astana between all Central Asian presidents. The Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev hosted the summit at the Aqorda Presidential Palace. It was the first summit of Central Asian leaders in nearly a decade. They resolved to henceforth convene every year in March before the Nowruz (New Year) holiday.

Threats

Iranian formables usually go into central Asia, so Iran is considered as a threat. China and Kyrgyzstan are the main threats, since Russia needs Central Asia to form the Soviet Union or Russian Empire, and China may invade central Asia for resources. India, Pakistan or even Afghanistan may invade you, so in short, you would have many threats to deal with. But with a bit of luck and lots of skill, you can form it!

Strategy

You are going to have to play very diplomatic if you are going to succeed in forming this nation. ( Look at threats above). Kazakhstan is the strongest nation of the five so try going with that one. Invade Mongolia in the process of forming, so after that you form the Turkic Khanate, and you can get a free 20 stability. Ally Russia. If that does not work try China. Develop your cities and justify on Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Invade them with Tanks or infantry. At this point you should have tanks if you don't already. Iran could have Turkmenistan. If so try to buy it from them. If not, invade Tajikistan and prepare to invade Iran. Ally one of Iran's neighbors and double team them. Once you have the required nations, you can form the Central Asian Union! Challenge - Form the Central Asian Union as a random Central Asian country. Post an image in the comments section as proof.
