The Emirate of Diriyah, also known as the First Saudi State, was established in February 1727 by Muhammad bin Saud and Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab. It aimed to unify the states of the Arabian Peninsula under a socio-religious reform movement.
Under the leadership of the House of Saud, the emirate expanded its influence, conquering Najd, gaining control over the eastern coast, and establishing dominance in the highlands of 'Asir. They also captured the holy cities of Mecca and Medina, challenging the authority of the Ottoman Empire. However, the Ottoman Empire sought to weaken the House of Saud, and Muhammad Ali Pasha of Egypt was tasked with this mission. The Ottoman–Saudi War ensued, with Ottoman forces led by Ibrahim Pasha capturing town after town and besieging Diriyah. In 1818, Diriyah surrendered, and many members of the Al Saud clan were sent to Egypt and Istanbul. Abdullah bin Saud, the emir at the time, was executed in Istanbul, marking the end of the First Saudi State. Despite the decline of the First Saudi State, the Wahhabi sect and the remaining members of the Al Saud clan remained committed. They later founded the Second Saudi State, which lasted until 1891, and eventually established the modern-day Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which continues to be ruled by the Al Saud dynasty. |

Strategy[]
Justify a conquest war on the United Arab Emirates and
Yemen. Build 2 destroyers and spawn 50K infantry on the UAE border and 80K on Yemen's border. Train your troops for Arid Specialization.
After you're done with building/training your military and the war justifications over, declare war on the UAE. Use 1 destroyer to weaken their troops and use AI luring to defeat their infantry without suffering too many losses. Take out their square cities and capital and then auto capture the rest. Start justifying a conquest war on Qatar if you haven't already.
Yemen will be more difficult due to their terrain and square cities. Send a destroyer in between their mainland and island. Send the 50K troops you used on the UAE to the island and don't do anything until Yemen's troops arrive. Your destroyer should take them out without your infantry getting hurt.
Declare war on Qatar and keep your other destroyer at their 1 city, to weaken their troops while you fight Yemen. After Yemen's troops have died, use your 80K troops to capital snipe and take their square cities while using your other 50K to auto capture the nation. If needed, spawn a couple more troops to auto capture the country.
After having defeated Yemen and the UAE, you can now focus on Qatar. Assuming you have been bombarding them with your navy all this time, their troops should be weakened to the point where you can invade the nation without losing to their entrenchment. If they are at the full 20K troops, don't invade until your navy has weakened them because their entrenchment will beat the crap out of your soldiers.
After you have taken over Qatar you can now form!
