The Filipino Empire was a formable located in Southeast Asia , it could only be formed by the Philippines.

The empire was bordered by Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, Singapore, and China. The population had a whopping 89 million people, rivalling Japan in total population. In the December 2020 Update, it was permanently archived from the game, but was later replaced by the Maphilindo Confederation on January 2021.

Background

Since The Filipino Empire was a fictional alternate history formable, it was eventually removed from the game. The origins for the formable can be found here.

Economy and Manpower

The Filipino Empire earned $3,684,746 from taxes and had a manpower capacity of 4,466,168 on Volunteer Conscription Laws.

Terrain

The Filipino Empire's terrain was just a mix of either flat or Hilly areas scattered across the formable.

Biome

It was located primarily in the Jungle biome, while some parts in the normal biome were northern Laos, northwestern Vietnam, and the city-island of Magong in Taiwan.

Cities

The Filipino Empire had 166 cities, the capital and most populous of which being Manila, with over 11,000,000 population.

Threats

• The main threat to forming the Filipino Empire was China as it needs Taiwan to form the Qing Dynasty.
• Other threats could have been Japan, Vietnam or Indonesia, as they could expand into the Southeast Asia.

Controversy

It was a fictional empire that is mainly criticized by Filipinos for its fictional value, and it has been sourced from someone's alternate history wiki page. People began to suggest for removal over time, because the existing rule for formables firmly stated that fake empires are prohibited. They used the Filipino Empire and Trio Java as an example of the fake empire rule because of the lands that is required to form it.

There are many suggestions wanted to remove or replace these fake empires. This is the first Filipino Empire formable removal suggestion below and another one that is more detailed. A poll that was ran showed that surprisingly all majority of the players agreed to remove it.
