Game Rules are rules applied to the game of Rise of Nations. They must be obeyed while playing to avoid punishments, enjoy gaming and keep civilized gameplay. Rules are from the Official Discord.
1. ROBLOX TERMS OF SERVICE (ToS)
- Most of what is mentioned here goes against Roblox ToS. Do your best to follow them while playing ingame, even if it doesn't break our rules it may get your account reported regardless.

2. EXPLOITS AND HACKING
- You will be gamebanned for using a hacking client for any reason in-game.
- Advertising a hack client to other users in-game or on the discord will result in your permanent gameban.
- Do not purposefully attempt to glitch the game, or tell others how to abuse the glitch.
- Truce breaking is not exploiting.
3. TROOP LAGGING AND CRASHING SERVERS
- The absolute limit of units you may have is 600 ground units, 200 aerial units (planes), and 200 naval units (ships). You will be gamebanned if you go over these unit limits.
- Using a significant amount of troops for a reason (such as to invade, or to defend a border) is allowed, however, don't go overboard and remain under the unit limit. If you are doing it intentionally, this becomes irrelevant.
- Whether or not you succeed in crashing a server does not matter, if your intent is to break the server you will be gamebanned nonetheless.
4. ALTERNATE ACCOUNTS
- Do not enter servers with a second account. Do not use the account to aid yourself in-game.
- Using a second account to bypass a ban is punishable and will affect your ban appeal and make you have to wait even longer to appeal.
- Breaking a rule on an account that is under 60 days old will result in you being gamebanned for suspected alternate account usage. Staff may also ban you if they deem or suspect the account to be an alt, using multiple indicators. Appeal the ban if this is not the case and you can prove it.
- Three warnings for this rule will get you gamebanned.
5. TOXICITY, SEXISM AND RACISM
- Do not try to insult, harass or engage in a hostile conversation with another user.
- If you threaten a user's life or encourage them to harm themselves, you will be gamebanned and your Roblox account will be reported.
- Includes private messages.
- Racism/Sexism is not tolerated. You may be gamebanned depending on the severity and how often.
- Three warnings for this in-game will get you banned. You may receive multiple warnings at once depending on how toxic you were and the moderators' judgment.
6. SPAMMING AND FLOODING
- Do not spam our chats in any way. You will find yourself being muted.
- Make sure you are not posting an excessively long piece of text, that will flood up the chats.
7. SEXUAL CONVERSATIONS
- Do not indulge in sexual conversations of any kind. This is Roblox, a child's game. Gamebannable offense.
- Bypassing sexual words in a sexual context comes under this rule too.
8. BYPASSING ROBLOX FILTER
- Bypassing any slurs or sexual words in their context will be immediately gamebanned for.
- Common swearing is not allowed and will be moderated.
- Harmless words such as lmao or discord are allowed to be bypassed.
- Two warnings for this rule will result in a gameban as well.
9. GRIEFING
- You are not allowed to swap countries to make it weaker from the inside, even if you do not plan on invading the country you are making it weaker. This includes but is not limited to: trade canceling, troop/building deleting, scorching from the inside, ruining the economy intentionally.
- Attacking people as a small nation with the intent to troll them is not allowed. (e.g Samoa declares on China and the United States just to annoy them or stop them from forming.)
10. NEW LIFE RULE
- Switching countries after being defeated just to invade them for revenge is primarily what this rule is about. Don't do it.
- Includes targeting a player by invading every country they swap to as a way to target them.
11. ROAD AND TROOPS ABUSE
- Do not use roads or troops to write out any swear words or the sort, no matter what word it is you will be gamebanned.
- Do not draw inappropriate things or symbols such as a swastika. You will be gamebanned.
12. IMPERSONATION
- Do not act like you are a developer (the only developer is Hyperant) or a member of the staff team.
- Do not create an account that is designed to look like another staff members account.
- This includes normal members not just the staff team.
13. USERNAME ABUSE
- Make sure that your username is appropriate to the game. If it contains any curse words or the like, you will be gamebanned.
14. BAITING
- Attempting to trick or force someone else to break any of these rules will result in you being moderated yourself, and sometimes the other user may not get moderated at all.
- Threatening them with leaking something so that they give in is definitely not allowed and you will be gamebanned and reported.
15. LISTEN TO STAFF
- If a staff member tells you to stop doing something, do it. If you are worried they are not actually staff, our team has permissions that can prove this to you only if needed.
- Staff can tell you to stop doing something even if it is not explicitly listed within the rules. Report any abuses of this to the Senior Administrators/Head of Staff.
