— Description of forming Gbaya Empire |
Gbaya Empire was a formable which could be formed by the Central African Republic.
It borders Chad, Sudan, South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Zambia, Angola, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Nigeria.
History[]
Gbaya, also spelled Baya or Gbeya, a people of southwestern Central African Republic, east-central Cameroon, northern Congo (Brazzaville), and northwestern Congo (Kinshasa). Numbering about 970,000 at the end of the 20th century, they speak a language of the Adamawa-Ubangi subgroup of the Niger-Congo language family that is related to those of their Banda and Ngbandi neighbors.
The Gbaya migrated southeastward from what is now the Hausa area of northern Nigeria early in the 19th century, fleeing the jihad (holy war) of Usman dan Fodio. Led by Gazargamu, their war chief, the Gbaya vanquished, assimilated, or drove ahead of them the peoples that they encountered. Contemporary Gbaya subgroups, which include the Bokoto, Kara, Buli, Kaka, and Bwaka, reflect this integration of defeated peoples. The Gbaya, in turn, were attacked annually by Fulani slavers from what is now northern Cameroon.
The Gbaya resisted French forces throughout the colonial period, notably in the early 1920s, because of the brutal impressment of Gbaya men and women as porters and laborers. In 1928 they began what became a three-year revolt in response to conscription of slave labour for the Congo-Ocean Railway. A French “nightmare campaign” decimated the Gbaya to an extent that was evident for several decades.
Rural Gbaya grow corn, cassava, yams, peanuts, and tobacco. They also hunt and fish. Coffee and rice, introduced by the French, are cash crops. The diamond rush of the late 1930s greatly disrupted traditional life of Gbaya in some regions; diamond prospecting continues to be economically important.
Economy and Manpower[]
The economy of the Gbaya Empire is good, with a gross income of $1,562,000, and a manpower of 618,773. It should be enough defend against Nigeria, South Africa, or Egypt on your own. It is advised to first make Electronic Factories and sell the Electronics to AI in order to have a decent income before starting to expand.
Geography[]
The terrain is only hilly in the northwest part of Cameroon, at the Nigerian-Cameroonian border.
Threats[]
Nigeria is a threat because they need Cameroon to form the Sokoto Caliphate. The Democratic Republic of Congo is powerful. Cameroon is powerful against CAR. Republic of Congo is strong too. That means every nation needed is stronger than Central African Republic. Germany needs Cameroon to form the German Empire.
Strategy[]
First make 4 electronics factories and justify on Republic of Congo and Cameroon. When the factories are almost done, quickly buy the resources, sell the electronics to AIs and build as much infantry as possible. Justify on Democratic Republic of the Congo and Chad and declare war on Republic of Congo and send your troops to the closest city and wait until enemy Home Guard attacks them. Then capture all the cities and send peace and build a motor, a steel, a fertilizer and 2 civilian factories in your mainland, and buy the resources needed for them. When unrest is down in Brazzaville, build tanks there and invade Cameroon in a similar way. If Nigeria already conquered it, it is possible to either solve it by diplomacy (e.g. conquer Democratic Republic of the Congo first then ask Nigeria to borrow it to you), or by invading them, but one should be careful, since Nigeria could possibly have 12x more population. Otherwise conquer Democratic Republic of the Congo in the same way, and if it's a player, use the same strategy as if Nigeria was a player.
If Nigeria is a player[]
First get as many tanks as possible and build a fort in the capital and Brazzaville (in case retreating would be necessary), then declare war and quickly capture some of Cameroon's lands, and entrench in its jungles. Get some aircraft parts and build attackers too so one has advantage over them. Now one can either wait with tanks entrenched in Cameroon until Nigeria agrees to give Cameroon, or use Attackers to destroy their army then invade their mainland too.
