— Description of forming Gold Coast |
Gold Coast was a formable located in Africa, bordering Mauritania, Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso, Chad and Cameroon. It was removed from the game on the update of November 11, 2022, along with many other African formables.
Economy and Manpower[]
Gold Coast earns $3,881,741 from taxes, with a manpower capacity of 1,325,192.
Resources[]
Gold Coast has an abundance of resources, the most interesting being Aluminum in Guinea, Titanium in Sierra Leone, Gold in Ghana and some Phosphate in Senegal and Togo.
Geography[]
Gold Coast's terrain was mostly flat and Hilly. It was situated primarily in the normal and Jungle biome.
Cities[]
Gold Coast's capital was the capital of the nation that formed it, unless it has been changed, which was unlikely because this formable was mostly formed in the early game and at that time no nation has that much political power to waste. The country has 131 cities which 15 are square citiesd
Threats[]
The biggest threat to forming it was any European or American nation taking Sierra Leone (Unless you are starting as Sierra Leone) due to its titanium production. Every country that was required for this except Liberia was also needed for European empires, so was Guinea-Bissau, which Portugal needs for his/her empire.
Democratic Republic of the Congo or Egypt may also be a threat, although it's unlikely if it was being formed as Nigeria.
Strategy[]
The best nation to form this as was Nigeria, but nations like Cote d'Ivoire are a good option too.
As Nigeria, you should first form Sokoto Caliphate for extra stability. It doesn't matter if you use tanks or not, because Nigeria has a lot of manpower and Gold Coast nations are weak when compared to you (all of them combined have twice as less population than you). You should form this nations quickly because nations like Sierra Leone are often colonised. So justify on Sierra Leone first so no one else can take it. Then focus on the lands in between (Liberia to Benin, and finally expand all the way to Senegal, and if you haven’t already, take Gambia.
If someone colonises one of the nations, build a navy primarily consisting of Submarines, take the colony and wait for their transports to arrive there. Use submarines to kill their transports while you're sending peace offer to annex their colony. They will eventually get tired of this and they will either build a navy or surrender their colony to you.
Strongest to Weakest to form it as[]
1. Nigeria 2. Cote d’Ivoire 3. Ghana 4. Senegal 5. Guinea 6. Benin 7. Togo 8. Sierra Leone 9. Liberia 10. Guinea-Bissau 11. Gambia
