The Iberian Union is a formable located in Europe 
and Africa 
(due to the cities of Ceuta and Melilla). It requires 
Portugal and 
Spain to be formed.
When you form this, you get access to the Power Sharing law.

Iberism (Aragonese, Basque, Galician, Portuguese and Spanish: Iberismo; Asturian: Iberismu; Catalan and Occitan: Iberisme), also known as pan-Iberism or Iberian federalism, is the pan-nationalist ideology supporting a unification of all the territories of the Iberian Peninsula. It mostly encompasses Andorra, Portugal and Spain, but may also include: Gibraltar and territories of France such as Northern Catalonia or the French Basque Country.
Currently no party represented in either country's parliament has the goal of Iberism but both countries joined the European Economic Community in 1986 and their borders and those of all other countries signing the Schengen accord have been opened since then. The Spanish party Izquierda Republicana has defended 'Iberian Federalism' as political structure for the state. Large companies have opened shop in the neighboring country, and the Portuguese state closed the birth center of the border municipality of Elvas, sending patients to the Extremadura health system. Some groups defend Iberism, including some Spanish and Portuguese officers. One 2006 survey by an Angolan weekly newspaper Sol showed only 28% of the Portuguese think that Portugal and Spain should be one country. 42% of these would put the capital in Madrid and about the same, 41%, in Lisbon. |

The Iberian Union makes around $1,990,000 and has a total manpower capacity of 585,453.
Compared to 
France's $1,810,947 income and 497,623 manpower, the Iberian Union has an advantage, both economically and militarily.

Terrain[]
The terrain is mostly Hilly in spots of Spain and Portugal. But the Pyrenees Mountains in the north separates the Iberian Union and France.
Biome[]
There is no biome encompassing Iberia.
Borders[]
It borders France and 
Andorra to the north, 
Morocco and 
Gibraltar to the south.
Strategy[]
Starting as Spain:[]
This is very easy for Spain, as it is much more powerful than Portugal, and Portugal is not usually a player. Justify a reason to go to war with Portugal, and once the justification is complete, declare war, then use AI luring if they are AI. After you destroy their infantry, send your infantry to Lisbon and capture it. Once you have taken their capital, auto capture the rest of Portugal, and send a large group of infantry (around 40k-70k) towards Porto, as it is a square city.
Starting as Portugal:[]
This is a bit harder than starting as Spain, because Spain will most likely be a player. If Spain is an AI, it should be easy.
If Spain is AI:[]
Build 1-2 electronic factories, 1 steel manufactory and 1 motor factory. Buy the resources needed to fuel the factories (2-4 gold and copper, 4 iron, 2 tungsten, and 0.2 titanium). Once your electronic factories are finished building, sell your electronics to AI superpowers. When you're finished selling the electronics, you should have a balance of around $2,000,000, and then you can make tanks (if your steel and motor factory is done building).
In the technology tab, try to go past Factory Output 1. Justify a reason to go to war with Spain and declare war on it once the justification is complete. Use AI luring, with around 1k to 2k tanks. After the infantry is destroyed, move your tanks to Madrid, and capture it. Now you can auto-capture the rest of Spain
If Spain is a player:[]
You have to mobilize quickly before they can anything because they are stronger than you most of the time. Like the first steps above, after you declare war, try to snipe the capital, if you successfully got their capital and can hold it, their releasables may declare independence and they (*MIGHT*) rage quit, after that you can split your troops and tanks and then auto capture the rest of Spain. Don't forget to conquest Spain’s releasables, too.
You can try asking some countries for manpower to fight against Spain too.
Threats[]
- France borders Spain and they may attack it, they also need
Catalonia (Spain and France’s releasables) for the Napoleonic Empire. - Any European nation wanting to form the European Union.
- Any country that can form the Islamic Caliphate needs both Spain and Portugal, however this scenario is rare.
- United States invading the Iberian Peninsula for a base in Europe.
- Morocco may invade the Iberian Peninsula to secure their position.
- Italy may invade the Iberian Peninsula to form the Roman Empire, But this is rare.
- Spain will most likely invade you if you're Portugal.
Trivia[]
- Despite its name, the Iberian Union does not include the entirety of Iberia due to not requiring Andorra and Gibraltar.
