The Inca Empire, also known as the Incan Empire and the Inka Empire, was the largest empire in pre-Columbian America. The administrative, political, and military center of the empire was in the city of Cusco. The Inca civilization arose from the Peruvian highlands sometime in the early 13th century. Its last stronghold was conquered by the Spanish in 1572. From 1438 to 1533, the Incas incorporated a large portion of western South America, centered on the Andean Mountains, using conquest and peaceful assimilation, among other methods. At its largest, the empire joined modern-day The Inca Empire was unique in that it lacked many of the features associated with civilization in the Old World. Anthropologist Gordon McEwan wrote that the Inca were able to construct "one of the greatest imperial states in human history" without the use of the wheel, draft animals, knowledge of iron or steel, or even a system of writing. Notable features of the Inca Empire include its monumental architecture, especially stonework, extensive road network reaching all corners of the empire, finely woven textiles, use of knotted strings (quipu) for record keeping and communication, agricultural innovations in a difficult environment, and the organization and management fostered or imposed on its people and their labor. The Inca Empire functioned largely without money and without markets. Instead, exchange of goods and services was based on reciprocity between individuals and among individuals, groups, and Inca rulers. "Taxes" consisted of a labor obligation of a person to the empire. The Inca rulers (who theoretically owned all the means of production) reciprocated by granting access to land and goods and providing food and drink in celebratory feasts for their subjects. The worst part of its history was when Atahualpa, who was the Inca of the entire empire, fought with his brother, causing a civil war. To make matters worse, the Spanish came to the area, and took advantage of the civil war to conquer the area. |
Economy and Manpower[]
The Inca Empire has an estimated income of roughly $2,400,000. It has a manpower increase of around 3,100, and manpower capacity of 879,311.
Geography[]
Terrain[]
The Inca coastline is very rugged. The coastline of Ecuador and the northern coastline of
Peru is Semi-Mountainous, along with the southern
Chile. The rest of the coastline is Mountainous. Central-western and southwestern
Bolivia is Hilly, and the area between it and the Mountainous bit of the Peruvian coast is Semi-Mountainous. Everywhere else is flat.
Biome[]
The central-eastern and northeastern parts of Peru is Jungle, along with Ecuador. Northern
Chile, southwestern Bolivia, and the southern coastline of
Peru is Arid. Everywhere else isn't affected by any biome.
Borders[]
The Inca Empire borders the Pacific Ocean, Brazil,
Paraguay,
Argentina, and
Colombia.
Cities[]
It has 226 cities, with the capital is Lima. In real life, however, it was Cusco.
Threats[]
Brazil may expand further into South America after forming the
Empire of Brazil. (COMMON)
Argentina requires
Chile and
Bolivia to form the
Rio de la Plata. (RARE)
Colombia needs
Ecuador to form
Gran Colombia. (RARE)
Spain wanting to form the
Spanish Empire. (RARE)
Strategy[]
The Inca Empire is one of the hardest formables in South America, since you are always competing with Brazil, one of the major powers. Below is the strategy to form it.
Diplomacy with Brazil[]
Your first priority is to ally Brazil if it is a player. If he most likely refuses an alliance, it is best to find another server. There is a chance, however, Brazil will just form the
Empire of Brazil, and/or attack
Argentina and its northern neighbors, so you may want to sometimes take the risk.
Industrialization[]
Make 2-3 electronic factories, and maybe a steel and motor factory. Due to the geography of the nations you will be invading, you may not want to use tanks heavily or at all in this playthrough, but you still may need the latter two factories to aid in supplying a civilian factory, if your stability is low. If it is necessary to build a civilian factory, you must need a fertilizer factory to supply it.
Expansion[]
Note: This is not an order on which nations to invade first and last, invade them in whatever order suits your playthrough goal best. It is recommended to conquer Bolivia first to form the
Peru-Bolivian Confederation. Doing this grants a 10% stability boost which would be useful in the long term and an aggressive expansion. If your only goal in the server is to conquer and nothing more the territories needed for the
Inca Empire, then you don’t have to do this. however, it is suggested to do so based on the previous advantages given to you after forming the Confederation. It is also advised to spend most of your manpower on the Chilean invasion.
The Invasion of Ecuador[]
First, justify on Ecuador, and select at least 10 cities near the border with it; spawn troops there. Declare war, an AI Lure the Ecuadorian home guard. Before forming a line with your units and performing an all-out invasion from the inside out, it is recommended to capture the square cities first. After doing so, then you can launch the full-scale invasion. Ecuador will eventually collapse, and you can annex it.
The Invasion of Bolivia[]
The Peruvian Blitzkrieg[]
Bolivia could be a tedious country to invade, due to its mixed geography in different parts of the country and its amount of cities. Since most of its cities are small and spread out and its somewhat harmless geography, it may be best to employ tanks for your invasion. If you choose tanks, build a road from Lima to Puerto Maldonado. Build at least 4 units of tanks (800 tanks) on Lima, and look for a general that provides a mobility boost, preferably with no other debuffs. If you find a general that fits this description, then hire them, and assign them to your group. Also, research your tank mobility. Once you're ready, move these tanks to Puerto Maldonado, which will take a long time. Eventually, once they reach it, declare war on Bolivia immediately move your tanks to the city of La Paz to AI Lure the Bolivian home guard. Then, move around Bolivia to capture the square cities, then capture its capital. After that, form a line with your tanks, and auto-capture Bolivia.
The Infantry Rush[]
If you choose to invade it with infantry, it is recommended to select the 9 eastern cities that are not in Mountainous terrain, and spawn troops there. AI Lure the Bolivian home guards, and if necessary, create reinforcements from these cities to aid your capturing in the square cities, and the annexation of the country in general. After capturing the capital, form a line, and auto-capture Bolivia.
The Invasion of Chile[]
For the invasion of Chile, it is definitely recommended to utilize infantry over tanks. Justify a war goal and declare war on Chile. The fastest way to take it out is to make a line along Chile's coast, although it will be small due to your nation being of average strength, and not having the manpower to completely cover Chile's maritime border. Your line should consist of at least 100k-210k infantry to conquer the mountainous terrain that covers most of Chile. You should, however, regroup your some of your split divisions into at least 40-50k troops to land on Chile first and AI Lure their home guard. After their home guard is defeated, then land the rest on your forces on Chile to ensure a faster victory.
*In case of a Brazilian or Argentine invasion, allying powerful nations and utilizing your decently-high number of manpower would be your best option.
