Iron is a common but important resource used in producing Steel. It is found in large amounts in Africa, Asia, Australia, South and North America and is found in smaller amounts in Europe. Russia is the nation that produces the most Iron in the game.
Iron isn't worth much, a measly $38,000 buying price per unit making it easily bought in bulks. It is extremely easy to get, being produced in every continent except Antartica. It is advised if you don't have a functioning source of iron yourself to annex an unnoticed country like Liberia to fuel your factories for the early-game.
How to trade Iron[]
Iron is traded like every other resource.
Press on the Flag on the corner on your screen, then select the Economy tab on the menu that should come up, press 'Resources' on the corner of the economy tab, then you can assess both your supply, and the world's supply on various resources.
After selecting the resource you want to buy (Which is presumably iron) you press on said resource, and you get a simple buy/sell tab.
