Israel is a Tier III nation located in the Middle East, a region in the continent of Asia .
Background[]
Israel has had many civilizations live inside its lands, like the Israelites, Babylonians, Philistines, Canaanites, and specifically Jews, where they were expulsed by the Romans during the diaspora and revolts started by Jews.
To anger the Jews, the Roman Empire changed the name of their Judea province to Syria Palaestina in 135 AD, as part of the Bar Kokhba revolt that lasted from 132 to 136 AD. Thus the events, they were sold as slaves or were captives, some got into the diaspora and some began working in the Jeruslaem Talmud. Following the Byzantine era and the decline of Hellenistic Judaism, Jews were less widespread than the Roman Empire, because they were excluded from government positions, military positions and even civilian positions. They held Israel for 3 centuries and were kicked with the conquest of the Rashidun Caliphate (modern-day Saudi Arabia) in the Levant. The Muslim takeover in the Middle East led to a change for the Jews, during the Muslim rule they were treated friendlier than their counterparts of the past, giving them permission to be presented after circa 500 years. In that period, alot of Jews lived across the historical region of Babylonia, most of them being at the countryside at cities like Baghdad, which led to wealth. When the Abbasid Caliphate came to exist, and Baghdad was on it's decline in the 10th century, the Jews migrated to the Mediterranean region, primarily the Balkans, Maghreb and Spain. The Golden Age of the Jews in Spain was under the Muslim rule, where they got accepted in society and their cultural, economic and religious principles develop. Many Jews at the time came from Northern Africa, from areas like the Maghreb, and specifically Morocco. They got the opportunity to be affluent, with the ability to have occupations like agriculture, mathematics, medicine and slave trade. Starting in 1099 after the Jerusalem siege and ending in 1260, the Crusades ruled over Israel, specifically for Jerusalem, since them a group of Latin Catholics. They persecuted the Jews, thus of them not being Christian and treated them very badly. The first crusade during 1096 to 1099 just made worse for the Jews, worsening their persecution conditions, being a target for their violence and hatred. In 1260, the Malmuks took over the region. In the following few centuries, in 1492, the diaspora and expulsion of the Jews in Iberia, the Inquisition, a group of institutions in the Catholic Chruch forcefully converted the Jews into Catholicism, which thus made them named New Christians, thus getting tortured if not following so. The result was the immigration of Jews into the Maghreb region of Northern Africa. During the classical Ottoman period between the 14th century and early 17th century, the Jews had some kind of prosperity, them being the powerhouse in finance when compared to other region. In other regions like in Poland, in the 17th century, it had the largest population of Jews in the entirety of Europe, but later in the mid-17th century many Jews were slaughtered by the Cossacks during the Polish-Ukrainian wars, and the Swedish war 7 years later in 1655, the persecution caused by those wars worsened the peace in the Jewish community, making a part of the demographic move into Western Europe, into places like Amsterdam, but some Jews still had expulsions or had to live in ghettos. In the 19th century, during Napoleon's existence, the French Empire offered Jews to leave their ghettos and seek refuge in the tolerant political regime that offered equality under the regime's law. Most countries at the time except Russia freed the Jews from the regime's control. Despite all the benefits, a form of antisemitism appeared based on the race rather than religion. That form held the Jews as a different race rather than the Aryans or other Europeans. Between the 1890 and 1924, around 2 million Jews migrated into the United States thus creating large communities mostly from Eastern Europe, a similar situation occurred in Southern America, specifically in the region of Uruguay and Argentina. During the late 19th century, many Jews from Europe thought of emigrating into the Middle East, to reclaim their presence in the Holy Land of Israel, where they have been presented during the Muslim rule, thus creating the Zionist movement, the first settlement Rishon LeZion was established in 1882, by the Hovevei Zion movement. In the First World War (WWI) the Jews thought that establishing a state is possibly from the British occupation of Ottoman Syrian, which was renamed into Mandatory Palestine, which contained Israel, the West Bank, Gaza and Jordan. The rest of the Levant was claimed by the French colonial empire. In 1933, the Facist regime, inspired by Italy at the time, came in Germany. They didn't accept Jews and slaughtered them. Following the Polish invasion during WWII, which had a moderate Jewish demographic at the time, had a significant view of the Allies on Germany which overall started the Second World War. After the failed operations and heavy equipment, the Jews were freed with joy, thus the Germans surrendered in 1945 and being divided into several districts for each ally, which later turned into Western and Eastern Germany. In 1945, the Jewish movements got more resistant in Israel and got unified. They began Guerilla attacks on British and Arab authorities, which led into certain activities ceasing. In 1947, the United Nations adopted a two-state solution, with a state for Arabs, and a state for the Jews. The Arabs didn't like the Jews being present and declined the offer. One year later, in 1948, the Jews got into a revolt which thus established the State of Israel on May 14, 1948. Since Independence, the State overcame several conflicts with the Arab states, like the Suez Crisis in 1956 and Yom Kippur war in 1973. For example, in 1967 the Six-Day war was declared by the Arab state on Israel in June 5th 1967, with them outnumbering Israel by any aspect except troop amount, which Israel overcame the forces and won the battle on June 10th a few days later. This marked the start of the major wars like the Yom Kippur war and South Lebanon conflict, which some of the conflicts and rivalries lasting today, mostly of them being the outcome of the Islamic Revolution in 70s. Fast forward to today, there have been many conflicts between Israel and Gaza, like the first and second Intifadas which took place in the 90s and 00's. The situation just worsened when Hamas took control of Gaza in 2007, thus marking a start for pro-antisemitism, with that because Israel supported Fatah and that party didn't encourage antisemitism. The Fatah party got weaker following the death of Yasser Arafat in 2004. Many conflicts include; 2008 Gaza War, 2014 Gaza War (also known as Operation Protective Edge, Hebrew: מבצע צוק איתן), which were major wars marking the future of Gaza. The other conflicts were smaller yet moderate air strikes launched by Hamas, like Operation Breaking Dawn and the ongoing Israel-Hamas War lasting around 2 months. |

Strategy[]
Starting Moves[]
Make 2 electronic factories and 1 steel and 1 motor factory, proceed to Research Factory Output I and II then sell the electronics produced. After the electronic factories are constructed, you should also construct tanks once the steel and motor factories are finished since tanks will use less manpower than infantry. If Egypt is not a big threat, you should then justify war on
Palestine and
Jordan. After taking Palestine and Jordan you should be able to form the
Kingdom of Israel, giving a stability boost and more core cities to work with. From there make 1 fertilizer and 1 civilian factory in order to produce consumer goods so you can sell them to the AI.
Taking over the Levant[]
Once your justifications on Palestine and Jordan have finished, if justify on Lebanon and
Syria to take the rest of the Levant. You should then blitzkrieg Lebanon and Syria once the justifications are complete. Attack Syria first if
Turkey is a player and they haven't gotten it already. You won't need to use AI luring as your sheer number of tanks will be enough to subdue the AI. At this time if you can handle Egypt, you should prepare for war against them in order to form the
Promised Land of Zion. Upon forming, it will instantly integrate your lands in the Levant and Egypt, giving you a more massive economy to work with. You will have a lot more opportunities from here to expand, including
Iraq, and
Saudi Arabia. Israel can be a powerhouse if handled correctly, however Egypt or Turkey might stop you early if they're a player.
If
Egypt is a Player[]
- Follow the starting moves section, more specifically selling electronics and consumer goods, as fast as you can to fund your defense against Egypt.
- Create a military group for your army and assign it a leader.
- Select the Static Lines land military doctrine to defend, and if you have enough military power go along with the Static Lines tree, starting with Greater Support.
- Fortify Jerusalem and Tel Aviv if you can afford it.
- Make artillery and put them north of those two cities. They will fight ships if Egypt has any, and will bombard their troops.
- As you have rushed tanks it should give you a starting edge over Egypt, make as many as you can, split them up, and put them in between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. This will be your frontline where you will defend from.
When/if Egypt declares, they might send around 150k troops but with this strategy you should be able to defend against them. If they keep sending more waves, keep your tanks/troops and artillery where they are, and make more tanks/troops. If you defeat their troops you can offer Egypt white peace if you would like, otherwise the Egyptian player might even quit. In that case finish your war with Egypt assuming you have the rest of the Levant to form the Promised Land of Zion.
If
Turkey is a Player[]
- You will need to construct a proper navy first. Start by making a battleship and a destroyer. It will function as a proper navy, building 2 submarines is optional, but good as well.
- Fortify your cities on the border of Turkey and fortify your capital/cities over 1 million in people, you should also build more troops in your capital and major cities over 1 million in population.
- Create a tank line along the border with Turkey to deter invasion, however you can also use this to attack Turkey.
- This will all deter an invasion from a Turkey player, but if you decide that you want to invade Turkey, you can use your navy to navally bombard the Turkish troops then blitzkrieg them using your tanks.
Trivia[]
- Israel has 1 removed formable:
Kingdom of Jerusalem.
