Strategy[]
Playing as Chad isn't always easy, you start off with quite a few enemies and are landlocked in the middle of a desert and jungle. Make sure that you turn your ideology to Socialism, in order to increase your manpower. Next, try building lots of Electronic Factories and selling them to AI nations anywhere. If the DRC is a player, try allying them against Nigeria if they are a player. If Nigeria isn't a player, then you may have less trouble forming this.
First, justify Cameroon and with your buffed up army, lure the AI to you and destroy them, this will now allow you to split your soldiers into different units and capture all of Cameroon's cities. Now that you have two cities with over 1 million population from Cameroon, you can start building tanks. First, you'll need to build motor and steel factories or get into the trading business with other nations. Once you have enough resources, start preparing a lot of tanks for your invasion of Nigeria.
If Nigeria is a player, you're going to need to prepare a lot and also fortify your key cities. Say, it's not a player for this example; With your tank divisions and infantry, declare war on Nigeria and begin capturing their big cities. Once the AI is overwhelmed, they'll fall to one or two of your divisions. With the other units, capture the rest of Nigeria's cities and now you can form this.
Now, let's say that Nigeria is a player. Here's what to do in this scenario; If you are allied to the DRC in this playthrough and they are a player, you'll need to bring them into the war to assure your victory. Send your tanks to wherever their soldiers are located and begin encircling them, if you are outnumbered, continue to build more tanks in Douglas and sending them over to fend against Nigeria. Once you beat them and the Nigeria player rages, they'll probably leave, leaving the rest of Nigeria open for you to take. Now that Nigeria has fallen, you can form the Kanem Empire.
