The Kilwa Sultanate was a Medieval sultanate, centered at Kilwa (an island off modern-day Tanzania), whose authority, at its height, stretched over the entire length of the Swahili Coast. According to the legend, it was founded in the 10th century by Ali ibn al-Hassan Shirazi, a Persian prince of Shiraz. His family ruled the Sultanate until the year 1277. They were replaced by the Arab family of Abu Moaheb until 1505, when they were overthrown by a Portuguese invasion. By 1513, the sultanate was already fragmented into smaller states, many of which became protectorates of the Sultanate of Oman. |
Geography[]
Kilwa's Sultanate is fully flat except of its Madagascan part, where the Hilly terrain dominate. Vast majority of formable has no biome however Jungle is present in Tanzania also in
Madagascar. It has 4 islander towns, doing a little of a defensive benefit. Formable lays entirely on the coast, potentially making it a great navy power in Africa

Kilwa Sultanate generates circa $300.000. Half of it is collected in Tanzanian cores. It has manpower capacity of 160,000 and makes around 500 manpower per round.

Tanzania and turn socialist to boost manpower increase.
- Justify on
Kenya and
Mozambique, build army, create an army group and recruit any military leader.
- Annex Kenya and Mozambique. Justify on
Madagascar,
Comoros and
Mayotte.
- During mainland conflicts, trade for steel and motor parts. Build as much tanks as it's possible.
- Invade the rest with tanks. Infantry will not go well against islander home guards.
