The Kingdom of Kandy is a formable of 
Sri Lanka that is located in Southern and Southeastern Asia. It has 47 cities. Its historical capital is Kandy in central Sri Lanka.
The Kingdom of Kandy is surrounded by powerful nations, which includes Indonesia, and Thailand. It also borders Brunei. Kingdom of Kandy has access to the South China Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Malacca Strait.
The Kingdom of Kandy was suggested by unknownsylveon.
It is planned to be removed due to the borders being fictional. Although the empire is real, the borders are nowhere near the size it is in game. It is impossible to implement these new borders as the real Kingdom was smaller than Sri Lanka.
Background[]
The Kingdom of Kandy was an independent monarchy on the island of Sri Lanka, located in the central and eastern portion of the island. It was founded in the late 15th century and endured until the early 19th century.
Initially a client kingdom of the Kingdom of Kotte, Kandy gradually established itself as an independent force during the tumultuous 16th and 17th centuries, allying at various times with the Jaffna Kingdom, the Madurai Nayak dynasty of South India, Sitawaka Kingdom, and the Dutch colonizers to ensure its survival.
From the 1590s, it was the sole independent native polity on the island of Sri Lanka and through a combination of hit-and-run tactics and diplomacy kept European colonial forces at bay, before finally succumbing to British colonial rule in 1818.
The kingdom was absorbed into the British Empire as a protectorate following the Kandyan Convention of 1815, and definitively lost its autonomy following the Uva Rebellion of 1817.

The Kingdom of Kandy is mostly flat, but it is hilly in Sri Lanka and eastern Malaysia. It is also mostly made of the Jungle biome.

Strategy[]
The Kingdom of Kandy, unlike the Khmer or Durrani Empires in the same continent, is not too hard. However, any Kingdom of Kandy player is vulnerable to an Indian, Thai or Indonesian invasion.
- Maldives: Spawn 60k Infantry and add it to your Home Guards. Then wait, and spawn 60k more infantry. By now your infantry should be the least level of trained, but should be enough to destroy the Maldivian homeguard, with a staggering 140k troops.
- Malaysia: Use the same division you used to conquer the Maldives. By now it should be at the 2nd least level of training which is enough for Malaysia. Then conquer them (*Note: You will need to send some more troops to Malaysia to act as separate divisions or be added to your first division, because by now, the first division will be too small to conquer all of Malaysia itself.
- Protection: On mobile you can't do much but make a border of highly trained troops across your empire. The main threats being India, Thailand, and Indonesia. On PC or any other device, form have a large and highly trained division you can use to have a fighting chance against any other nations. Kingdom of Kandy is stronger than Sri Lanka, but it is not necessarily stronger than its powerful neighbors. So be prepared.
