The Kingdom of Lunda is a formable for Lunda-Tchokwe, an
Angola's releasable in Africa
. It has been added in the World Update in November 11th 2022 release.
Background[]
The following is taken from Wikipedia which is licensed under CC-BY-SA 4.0. You can view the article it was taken from here.
The Kingdom of Lunda, also known as the Lunda Empire, was a pre-colonial state that existed in Central Africa from the 16th to the 19th centuries. It was one of the largest and most powerful kingdoms in the region, encompassing parts of present-day Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Zambia.
The Kingdom of Lunda was founded by the Lunda people, an ethnic group that inhabited the area. It emerged as a centralized state under the leadership of a ruler known as the Mwata Yamvo. The Mwata Yamvo held significant political and religious authority and was considered both a political and spiritual leader.
The kingdom reached its height of power in the 17th century under the reign of Mwata Kazembe. It controlled a vast territory and established a system of governance that included a hierarchical structure of local chiefs and officials.
Geography[]
Kingdom of Lunda borders default countries of Angola, the
Democratic Republic of the Congo,
Namibia,
Botswana,
Zimbabwe,
Zambia and
Tanzania. It is a landlocked formable which is completely flat and has mere base population of just over 4 million people.
Resources[]
Despite being located in South Africa, a region rich in minerals, the formable produces decent amounts of diamond and copper. It only makes 1 iron unit as well.
Strategy[]
Best strategy to start with, would be allying neighbors such as Nigeria if it's even played. Allianceships is the important key in forming the Kingdom of Lunda, however it's possible without them. Firstly, recommended path is to invade and conquer Zambia first. Later, with the help of allies, invade DRC. Let's say, Nigeria, the ally, would invade The
Democratic Republic of the Congo from north, and the player playing Lunda-Tchokwe would attack from south. The last problem is
Namibia which holds only one city required, named Katima Mulilo. Again, player'd have to conquer whole Namibia to fulfill requirements, but it should be now easy, especially when it's AI.
Threats[]
South Africa required all of
Namibia to form the
South African Union.
- The
Democratic Republic of the Congo trying to take over.
Angola reintegrating
Lunda-Tchokwe back.
- Any African countries trying to form the
African Union.
- European countries required few of lands from their empire.
