The Arab Kingdom of Syria, also known as the Hashemite Kingdom of Syria, was a short-lived entity that existed during the aftermath of World War I. It was established in 1920 and lasted for only a few months.
Following the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, the Arab Revolt, and the signing of the Sykes-Picot Agreement, there was a movement to establish independent Arab states in the region. In this context, the Arab Kingdom of Syria was proclaimed on March 8, 1920, with Faisal bin Hussein, a son of Sharif Hussein of Mecca, as its king. The establishment of the Arab Kingdom of Syria faced several challenges. France, which had colonial aspirations in the region, opposed the Arab self-rule and sought to establish its own influence. French forces entered Syria in July 1920, and by July 25, they captured Damascus, effectively ending the Arab Kingdom of Syria. The French Mandate for Syria and Lebanon was then established, and the territory came under French colonial administration until its independence in the mid-20th century. Meanwhile, Faisal bin Hussein went on to become the king of Iraq from 1921 to 1933. |

Threats[]
As a Middle Eastern nation, you will encounter turbulence when attempting to form. The list focuses on the primary threats which may occur throughout the run, but are not limited to;
Turkey trying to expand or form the
Ottoman Empire. (COMMON)
Iran expanding to the west, while
Egypt expands towards the east. (COMMON)
Iraq colonizing
Syria to form the
Babylonian Empire. (RARE)
Israel expanding towards north to form the
Promised Land of Zion. (RARE)
- Any nation trying to form the
Islamic Caliphate or the
Arab League. (RARE)
Please note that Turkey or Egypt will most likely be your biggest threat as they have a high manpower pool and have the tendency to attack smaller nations in the Middle East.
Strategy[]
Turkey is AI[]
- Make 2 electronics factories and purchase 4 gold and 2 copper. Then justify a wargoal on
Jordan and
Lebanon
- Create 40k new infantry units and sell electronics to the AI nations (5 units each)
- Justify a wargoal on
Israel and
Palestine
- Declare war on Lebanon and use AI luring to kill the enemy infantry, Then take the rest of Lebanon. Then annex all cities, take 75% of the treasury, and take 75% of their resources.
- Declare war on Jordan and use AI luring kill the enemy infantry, then take the rest of Jordan. Then annex all cities, take 75% of the treasury, and take 75% of their resources.
- Repeat the same process on Israel and Palestine.
- Justify a wargoal on
Turkey. Make a motor factory and a steel factory. Buy 4 Iron, 2 Tungsten, and 0.4 Titanium.
- Make around 1000 tanks and declare war on Turkey. Use AI luring to kill all Turkish infantry and then send all of your tanks to Ankara.
- After Ankara has been occupied, send the remaining tanks to Istanbul and occupy it.
- Once the two major cities are out of the way, you can send your infantry in while your tanks reinforce. Once they are done reinforcing, make them units of 200 and auto-capture Turkey.
If Turkey is a player[]

- Repeat the same process on Israel and Palestine.
- Justify a wargoal on
Turkey and use 75% of manpower on tanks. You may have to purchase some oil from some surrounding countries.
- Declare war on Turkey and take some cities near your border. Make sure to place 1 destroyer and 1 submarine near the Istanbul cannal, one destroyer near the border with you and Turkey, one near the Greek islands that border Turkey, and also place your Battleship near Istanbul. This should clear any units protecting it. Make sure to also keep your extra submarines scattered due to your enemy being unable to see the submarines you own. Always be ware of what is going on and know when to use the submarines and when not to.
