Kryvdonbass, also known as the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Soviet Republic was a short-lived self-proclaimed state that existed during the Russian Civil War. It was established in December 1917 by Bolshevik forces in the territories of Donetsk and Krivoy Rog, which were industrial regions located in what is now eastern Ukraine.
The republic was formed in the aftermath of the Russian Revolution and the collapse of the Russian Empire. It emerged as a result of the power vacuum and political instability in the region. The Bolsheviks, led by Fyodor Sergeyev (known as Artyom), took control of the area and declared the establishment of the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Soviet Republic. The republic had a turbulent existence and faced significant challenges, including opposition from various anti-Bolshevik forces. It also had to contend with the competing interests of other factions during the Russian Civil War, including Ukrainian nationalists and the forces of the Russian White Movement. In 1918, the republic merged with the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, which was another Bolshevik-controlled entity that emerged in Ukraine. The merger led to the formation of the Ukrainian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, a precursor to the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, which later became one of the constituent republics of the Soviet Union. |
Economy and Manpower[]
The Kryvdonbass has a decent population of 8,063,906 and two square cities for tank-building.
Its resources and tax income provide it with an income of $510,851.
Geography[]
Terrain[]
There are no special terrain types in the entirety of Kryvdonbass.
Biomes[]
During December and January, all of Kryvdonbass is covered in a Severe Winter. In the months before and after, there is a Mild Winter in the same territory. Be sure to train for winter conditions if your invasion happens during the winter.
Strategy[]
Using Friends Cheese[]
In the situation where you have a friend online to help, you can have your friend play as Russia. Not only can your friend cede you the singular city needed, but the power of Russia removes any threat or challenge. Russia can constantly supply you with aid, protect you from any country invading you, and can invade
Ukraine for you.
Invading Ukraine[]
To start off with, try forming an alliance a fairly powerful nation in the region who is open to helping you. Invade Luhansk first if they're independent. After you invade Luhansk, or if there is no Luhansk to invade, you need to buildup a sizeable army to invade Ukraine with. Ukraine is far larger than
Donetsk or Luhansk, so accumulating a large enough army will take some time. In the mean time, enable the "Advance the Research Bureau" policy to get +34% research output and amass research points. Start researching Tax Collection under the economic tree. While you're waiting for your army to assemble, build a steel and motor factory. If you have extra money, build an electronic factory and sell those electronics to AI countries. Buy a steady supply of
Oil and a one-time purchase of
Titanium so that you can make tanks. On top of that, train your troops for winter conditions. Once your army is large enough, declare war on Ukraine. Assuming that no one is playing as Ukraine, invade only a singular city that it semi-close to the capital, allow your troops to entrench, and wait for the AI to charge at your entrenched troops and die. Then, spread out your troops and have them capture the rest of Ukraine with auto-capture. Try to do all these steps fairly quickly incase Russia plans on invading Ukraine or you.
Invading Russia[]
You should expect Russia to invade you. Even if they won't, you will have to invade them to form. Russia will inevitably be a player; finding a server where no one is playing as Russia is extremely rare, so for starters, fortify as many cities as you can and produce as much artillery as you can. Don't forget that you have acquired a Titanium deposit from invading Ukraine, allowing you to make even more tanks. Prioritize placing your infantry, tanks, and artillery on your capital city and on cities located along the border with Russia. Ensure that all your troops in those areas are entrenched. Building aircraft is not necessary but would be of great help. To get the aircraft parts, simply buy them off another country. Speaking of aircraft, build some anti-aircraft if you have spare money. If you haven't already, train your troops for winter conditions. Research defense under the tank tree and anti-tank under the infantry tree. Finally use your military power to recruit some Army leaders. Be sure to prioritize Army leaders with the best defense.
If the odds are in your favor, you will have been able to do everything listed in the above paragraph without Russia noticing or at least before they declare war on you. Once either you or Russia declares war, hope that your ally will send troops over to help defend you. However, do not depend on them. Allies tend to be unreliable, so be prepared to take Russia on alone. In the event that they declare war, pray that they did not send enough troops, causing all of their troops to perish from your artillery fire and entrenchment. Then, send a small amount of troops into Russia for extra chaos, but keep the majority of your troops on your border so they remain entrenched. In the event that you declared war on Russia, send the majority of your troops, especially tanks, into Russia, but still keep some of your troops along your border with them and on your capital. No matter what happens, never stop making artillery, infantry, and tanks. If you have aircraft, use it to bomb Russia's factory cities. This will cripple their ability to make tanks and other practical units. Then, send your aircraft to bomb populous cities throughout the west part of Russia. Pay attention to any anti-aircraft they might have so you can direct your plane(s) around it.
If luck is on your side, Russia will be letting up on its aggression, allowing you to send a considerable amount of your infantry and tanks straight to their capital: Moscow. If they has troops sitting on Moscow, let your troops entrench in a nearby city and use aircraft and artillery to slowly chip away their health. If they has its own anti-aircraft and artillery to counterattack those things, quickly open up the research menu, go to the support tree, and research Support Range to increase your artillery's range. Following that, take just one of your artilleries and inch it closer and closer to Moscow to see if your artillery can reach Russia's troops at Moscow, but the Russian artillery at Moscow can't reach your artillery. Then, place all your artillery that exact distance away, and be sure to place infantry on top of your artillery. Once all of their troops at Moscow have died, take the city. All that is left to do is invade the rest of Russia. Hopefully, Russia's stability is suffering, allowing its many releasables to breakaway and giving you far less land to invade. If not, you'll just have to invade the rest of the massive country.
If things did not go your way, and you either failed to invade Russia or failed to defend against Russia, you can try to send peace terms where you only annex the one city you need to form. However, It is unlikely that Russia will accept these terms.
Threats[]

European Union.
Trivia[]

- It's name was created when Lenin declared that Ukraine would be formed from those lands and told Stalin to "oversee the destruction of the Kryvdonbass"
