. It requires 1 city in

Background[]
The Qonduz Khanate or commonly known as the Kunduz Khanate was a state in Central Asia that existed from the mid-17th century to the mid-18th century. It was located in what is now northern Afghanistan and southern Tajikistan, with its capital in the city of Kunduz. The Kunduz Khanate was founded by a Uzbek military leader named Abdullah Khan Uzbek, who had served as a governor under the Persian Safavid dynasty. After a falling out with the Safavids, Abdullah Khan Uzbek established his own independent state in the region.
The Kunduz Khanate was known for its military strength and for its strategic location along the Silk Road trade route. The rulers of the Kunduz Khanate were able to maintain their independence for over a century, despite facing challenges from neighboring powers such as the Persian Safavids, the Mughal Empire, and the Durrani Empire.
The Kunduz Khanate eventually fell to the forces of the Durrani Empire in the mid-18th century, and its territory was absorbed into the larger Afghan state. However, the legacy of the Kunduz Khanate lives on in the cultural and historical heritage of the region.
