Maps are an important element of the game. It shows countries, cities, units, factories, scorched cities, borders, waters, mountains, ships, airports, and airplanes. The maps can be set to different modes by the player.

When you change the map mode, only your screen will change. It doesn't affect other players.

Modes[]

Modes can be selected in the bottom right corner of the screen. There are five different modes as well as a resource finder. Cities, units, airports, factories, scorches, waters, ships, airports, and airplanes are always shown no matter what mode.

Political[]

This is the default mode. It shows countries and their borders. This helps with placing troops, invading people, and seeing who is next to you. (Note: Some countries may have similar colors.)

Faction[]

This mode shows the countries in factions. Each faction has a different color. This helps show what factions are where so you can make allies or join factions quicker.

This shows ideologies. Countries are displayed as different colors based on their ideology.

  • White - Non-aligned

This shows your diplomacy. Clicking a city in another country while in diplomacy map mode will show its diplomacy. Different countries are different colors based on their relation to the selected country.

  4. Multiple Colors - Faction member; Depends on faction.
