— Description of forming Napoleonic Empire |
The Napoleonic Empire is a formable for France, located in Western Europe
. Forming the empire will award the Napoleonic French skin and the First Consul title.
Background[]
The First French Empire was de-facto established in 1799, and de-jure established in 1804. After the return of Napoleon from his Egyptian Campaign the Coup of 18 Brumaire in 1799 brought him to power, and the government was overthrown. The coup was mostly orchestrated by Napoleon's brother Lucien, the president of the Lower House. Napoleon had been acting as a Second Lieutenant before the coup, and had gained nationwide praise for his military success against the enemies of Revolutionary France, including the Napoleon vowed to defeat these "enemies of France", and personally lead the southern front of the new offensive, on towards the Austrian capital, Vienna. The other two fronts, led by other military officials more north stalled, but Napoleon kept winning victory after victory in Northern Italy. Napoleon would cross the alps to Northern Italy, in a maneuver that managed to catch the Austrians sieging Genoa off-guard. At the Battle of Marengo, the French crushed the Austrian troops in the Italian Peninsula. After this crushing blow, the French would continue eating away their control of the peninsula, and establishing new "sister republics", such as the Piedmontese Republic and Roman Republic, essentially French vassals. With Vienna exposed, the Austrians sued for peace and signed a humiliating peace treaty. The war was over with Austria and the War would soon resume, as both France and
Britain had been breaking the Treaty of Amiens, especially when Napoleon ordered an expeditionary force to directly invade the British controlled, former French colony of Only a day after Napoleon's Ulm Campaign had finished, a Franco-Spanish fleet would meet Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson's British fleet at Cape Trafalgar. The battle was a decisive British victory, mostly due to Lord Nelson's ambigious tactics, which also cemented his status as a British hero. Nelson died during this battle. The victory ensured British control of the seas, and French naval forces would avoid confontaation with the Royal Navy for the rest of the war, and arguably for the rest of the century. In late 1806, the Prussians would begin preparations for war against the French. The state of Hanover had been promised to the Prussians by Napoleon as compensation for other territorial changes, but Frederick William III, the King of Prussia had learnt that the French had also promised Hanover back to the British in exchange for peace. Most of the Prussian court wanted war, including the King's own wife, and soon Prussia would march to war. This would be a terribible decision, as France unleashed all forces east of the Rhine to invade Prussia, and overwhelmed Prussia by moving with lightning speed. After the Prussians suffering embarrassing defeats at Jena–Auerstedt, Berlin fell to the French. After advancing all the way to East Prussia, and the Russian frontier, and driving the Russians out of The British, however, continued to disrupt French trade and access to their colonies via their powerful navy, along with constantly supplying French enemies with money. In response, the Continental System was formed, consisting of France, her allies, and her client states. This encouraged the British to smuggle trade and seek new markets. Many countries in the Continental System weren't properly participating in the blockade, with once such country being Spain. In response, France set up a puppet government in Spain. Many Spaniards didn't approve of their new government, however, and revolted, kickstarting years of guerilla warfare known as the Peninsular War, weakening French dominance. The Austrians decided to take advantage of this war and would invade France, starting the War of the Fifth Coalition. Though the French successfully defeated the Austria, a major defeat in the Battle of Aspern-Essling showed that France wasn't invincible in battle. Austria was punished harshly and ceded even more land to France and her clients. A marriage was arranged not long after between Napoleon and the Austrian emperor's daughter, cementing Austria's position as a French ally. This is when the First French Empire would reach its zenith. When the Russian tsar headed an insurrection against Napoleon, Napoleon invaded Russia in 1812. The French had initial success in the first stages of the war, winning the Battle of Smolensk, and winning the deadly Battle of Borodino, which granted Napoleon the ability to capture Moscow. After staying in the city for far too long and the Russian refusal of surrender, the French attempted a retreat, suffering heavy attrition from the dreaded Russian winter along the way. After barely managing to retreat from Russian lands, Napoleon was forced to fall back on his frontiers of 1809. After the refusal of peace given to them by the Austrians at the Congress of Prague, many French allies, such as After a brief exile on Elba, Napoleon attempted to return to France. After a failed attempt to arrest Napoleon, and instead the troops sent to do so joining his side, Napoleon retook the throne in 1815, briefly continuing the French Empire. Europe reacted to this in a period known as the "Hundred Days", and started the 7th Coalition to depose him once more. Napoleon was defeated in Waterloo, and surrendered himself to the British. The Kingdom of France was once again restored, finally ending the First French Empire, and Napoleon was exiled to |

Geography[]
Terrain[]
While the majority of the empire is flat, Hilly terrain can be found in the area surrounding the French alps, Corsica, southern
Catalonia,
Liguria,
Tuscany, western
Slovenia, and the French territory in
Croatia. Its Semi-Mountainous territory includes the rest of Catalonia,
Andorra, the French Pyrenees, and the western French Alps. Its Mountainous territory spans the eastern French Alps,
Valdosta,
Monaco, the northern panhandle of
Piedmont, and its territory in
Switzerland.
Biome[]
The Napoleonic Empire does not have any unique biome but Mild Winter, which occurs from December-January. It spreads through its German territory, the Lowlands, all of France except for its east, Piedmont, Valdosta, and its territory in Lombardy,
Emilia, Croatia, and Slovenia.

Frankish Empire.
Italy may try to form the
Roman Empire.
- The

Strategy[]
At the start of the game, it is recommended to build 2 electronic factories and buy 4 gold and 4 copper (sell them after its built). Justify on Monaco and
Andorra for extra cash and the formable. Now since the player has the extra money, they can choose to construct a steel and motor factory, buy the required resources, and set government or research spending to medium.
Justify on Belgium and the
Netherlands and blitzkrieg them using tanks. After you taken Belgium and Netherlands, make more tanks for
Spain and
Italy. If they are AI, then the player doesn't need to upgrade the army as much. If they are not AI, build up a navy and a lot of tanks. To keep it short, capital snipe Italy and try wiping out Spain's army. Now all the player needs to take is
Luxembourg and
Slovenia (if they haven't yet). They are also recommended to take Germany for more power.
