— Description of forming Nile Empire |
The Nile Empire was a formable of all nations with access to the Nile River and Lake Victoria that was located in North, East and Central Africa. It has 349 cities with its capital varying from server to server, but Cairo was usually the capital of this empire. It was removed from the game on the update of November 11, 2022, along with many other African formables.
It bordered Israel, Djibouti, Somalia, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Angola, Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Chad and Libya.
Background[]
The Nile River was the longest river in the world, with the title now held by the Amazon River. The Nile spans over several countries within Africa.
It has 2 river sources, being the White Nile and Blue Nile. The Blue Nile flows from Lake Tana in Ethiopia and the White Nile's source is from the large Lake Victoria.
Several cities such as Cairo and Alexandria are based around the Nile with the river being one of the main things, leading to the major growth of Egypt.
Terrain and Biomes[]
The Nile Empire had a variety of different terrains with hilly terrain on the Egyptian and Sudanese Red Sea coastline, Rwanda, Burundi and most of the territory surrounding Lake Victoria and a piece of Eritrea to the west of Asmara. As for mountainous and semi-mountainous terrain, it was all located in Ethiopia with mountainous terrain in Addis Ababa and to the west of Addis Ababa and semi-mountainous terrain engulfing the rest of Ethiopia, excluding the eastern tip of the nation. The rest of the Nile Empire was just flat desert. The biomes of the Nile Empire are only the Arid and Jungle biomes. With the Arid Biome being in Egypt, Sudan, Eastern Ethiopia, and Kenya. The Jungle biome was in Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Western Tanzania, and the Northern Half of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Economy and Manpower[]
With a population of 90,379,773 million people, this gives the Nile Empire a 1,807,596 Manpower cap. Meanwhile, the total economy was 5,118,526 million dollars, with most of the money coming from taxes and partially from resources. The Nile Empire's position on base-stat rankings was 6th Place, twice as large as Nigeria's economic position, and slightly behind base-stat Japan. The Nile Empire's economy was not good for its size, and the manpower cap won't provide a steady supply in total war. The fact that its economy was only twice the size of Nigeria shows some of the worthlessness in African land taxes.
Resources[]
The Nile Empire produced the following resources:
- 2 Units of Aluminum
- 2 Units of Chromium
- 6 Units of Copper
- 5 Units of Diamond
- 11 Units of Gold
- 8 Units of Iron
- 14 Units of Oil
- 10 Units of Phosphate
- 1 Unit of Titanium
- 1 Unit of Tungsten
Strategy[]
It's best to start as Egypt since it was the most powerful nation in the region and has titanium, which was a rare resource which was used to make tanks. It also produces much oil. You should start off with 15 units of Home Guard. Make 15 make units and take the Sudanese Nile. While your troops are at war, this would be the best time to make electronic factories and sell them to AIs. Sudan was the hardest to take so while you're waiting, make tanks for a naval invasion on Tanzania. If Germany occupies Tanzania, then go for Kenya. With your tanks it's best to quickly take Ethiopia and Eritrea, or Italy might take them. Do not ally those who oppose the Nile. With the Tanks, conquer the rest of Lake Victoria (Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda), and Sudan should be finished by now. With the troops who just conquered Sudan, make them take South Sudan, and your tanks for the Democratic Republic of the Congo, once your men have finished with South Sudan, make them help your tanks with the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Once you have formed, you should develop cities, build recruitment centres and improve technology, but from there, you can lead the Nile. Also don't forget to block Suez Canal for those who are threatening your chance to form. Some of you might be thinking, “What do I do if Germany or Italy has a hold of its colonies?” Well, Italian Empire would be weaker than you, prepare an army along the Nile and an army ready for Ethiopia, take Ethiopia and Libya and get ready for a naval invasion on mainland Italy, you can also attempt to buy the lands, Italy mostly goes for the Balkans rather than its colonies, so it will be pretty rare for an Italy to try and form Italian Empire. As for Germany, ally Russia and France, and try and connect your African lands with Cameroon, prepare your army and make sure your ally, France has Burkina Faso, if there are French forces, you can retreat only some of the army at the Cameroonian border, keep the remaining army as border guards with some artillery, have most of your army focused on Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi, do not auto capture if German forces are at guard. Have Russia to border Germany via Poland and get ready for a war, (make sure you're the declarer), Germany players tend not to form the German Empire, they mostly try to take advantage of Europe, so it will be pretty rare for a Germany to try and take colonies too. Only ally Italy and Germany once you have formed. Good luck!
Threats[]
- Turkey/Ottoman Empire might take you as
Egypt if they border you.
- Saudi Arabia might invade you as
Egypt , Sudan, or Eritrea for expansion. Or in Egypt and Sudan's case, the Arab League/Islamic Caliphate. (RARE)
- Belgium might declare war on you as the
Dem. Congo to form the Belgian Empire. (VERY RARE)
- Somalia or Eritrea might invade you as Ethiopia. (VERY RARE)
United Kingdom needs most of the countries required for the
British Empire
- If you are
Burundi or
Rwanda, The
Dem. Congo might take you for small expansions.
- For
Tanzania, the
Dem. Congo might reach you and declare on you. (Or
South Africa too, since they are there).
South Africa might try and take you if you play as the
Dem. Congo if they get far enough.
