| — Description of forming Oceanic Union |
The Oceanic Union is a formable made up of Oceanic countries located in Oceania 
.
Background[]
The Oceanic Union is a regional formable (thus why it was previously removed), the idea likely came from the real life "Pacific Union", which was a proposed economic and political union between the pacific islands of Oceania (similar to the 
EU). This proposal, however, did not mention unification, and thus, it was formerly not qualifiable as a formable. This changed however as it was added in an update on March 10th, 2025.
The Pacific Union was an idea proposed by a member of the 
Australian Senate in 2003. Later, the Prime Minister of Australia, John Howard would openly speak about a possible Pacific Union. Despite this, the topic was dropped, and the union has since not been mentioned.[1][2]
The CER (Closer Economic Relations) is an economic treaty/pact signed by the governments of 
New Zealand and Australia that is still in place. However, there have been calls to extend the CER to other Oceanic nations rather than just the aforementioned two.[3]
Strategy[]
There usually isn't a strategy here, but one good idea is to first take Papua New Guinea and New Zealand for an early boost to manpower.
Then, you need a navy. Buy some steel or make some yourself.
Next, make some troops so you can kill the Home Guard on the islands. You need at least 3x more troops than they do because they are entrenched in their countries.
Next, go and conquer the islands.
Lastly, form the Oceanic Union.
Australia is by far the easiest country to form as, but it cannot form the Pacific Federation like the other options. Fiji and Tonga have additional formable and are good choices because small countries usually go unnoticed. In fact, every single nation in Oceania are really good choices for forming this due to Oceania's advantage of being irrelevant.

The economy of the 
Oceanic Union is ideal enough to upkeep the nation and to further expand the economy on, with an average income of $1,556,513, consisting of $1,474,709 received from tax and $81,817 from natural resources.
Military[]
The Oceanic Union has a base manpower capacity of 658,883. The country gains 2,181 per 5 days.
Terrain[]
The terrain is hilly only in the most populous spot in Australia (the east side), north Papua New Guinea, and all of New Zealand. This provides almost no defense, but it doesn't really matter since it is unlikely you will find yourself under attack.
Threats[]
United States controls Hawaii and might try to form Empire of Liberty.- Japan attempting to form Empire of Japan.
- United Kingdom attempting to form British Empire.
- France attempting to form French Empire.
- Indonesia controls some of the Oceanic Union's territories.
- Australia if you're not playing as it might be a player and is much more powerful than other nations in the formable.
Trivia[]
- Oceanic Union used to be a deleted formable, before it's revival.
- There are two Oceanic Union formables ingame, Oceanic Union and Oceanic UnionX. Oceanic UnionX is supposedly the old Oceanic Union that was replaced, and is only accessible in the Custom Formables tab when you look for formers.
