The Official Rise of Nations Discord Server is the largest community server for Rise of Nations on Discord. As of November 2024, it has approximately 100,000 members, with about 6,200 active members monthly. It is home to most of the community's places of organization, including suggestions, events, and the Wiki community itself.
Categories
- Important information category consists of official rules applicable to game and Discord server, important and miscellaneous announcements (such as real-world news), but also game's development status.
- Help Channels are strictly used to help players, such as channels that provide game and Discord knowledge, as well as gaining roles or reporting rulebreakers. Members can also create forums in a special channel if they require questions surrounding the game or Discord.
- Community category is basic for-fun category where staff mainly interacts, such as launching general polls, promoting external Discord servers, or host Rise of Nations Challenges.
- Event Community is a special category for game events, hosted by Event Managers. They are purposely used to host custom-made servers with a certain theme.
- Wiki Community is a section made strictly for the RoN Wiki. Since it's an official page, the project has a full support.
- Rise of Nations section relates to the game, as it storages game discussions, strategies, screenshot medias, and off-platform videos, such as Youtube and Twitch.
- Discord community's purpose is to avoid game-related and allows members to talk about general topics, examples such as global politics, memes, and more.
- Creations is the hub where creations, fan-art, and photographical imagery is posted. Occasionally, contest entries are hosted in this category from time-to-time.
- Suggestions is the last section, and is only visible to exclusive people, as it can only be viewable upon reaching the "Corporal" rank, which is automatically obtainable by talking in the server. It is a special category because it's only place to submit ideas for the game. Suggestions can go through a process of consideration if it is likeable by the Suggestions Council, which is one of the final steps of getting an idea implemented to Rise of Nations.
Partners
- Military Flight Simulator is Hyperant's other project. Partnered in October 2019, and is a Roblox game project.
- Event Hub is an alternative hub place for hosting and participating in game events. However, on July 1, 2021, the Event Hub has been discontinued and is now renamed to "Zaat's shrine"
- Rise of Nations Wiki, which partnered in April 2021, is the official Wiki for Rise of Nations.
- Tournament Server is a base served to host official event competitions for RoN. Biannually, hundreds of players participate in the events to receive champion prizes, such as roles, game titles, and other benefits.
- Medieval RTS is a discord server for the game, the game is a strategy game where you can form alliances and expand your kingdom to be the dominator of the Medieval Times.
Suggestions
It's sole part of Discord, despite the fact lots of them are being released each week, only few may be considered monthly. And the small part is approved & implemented within the next month. That means a good suggestion may be very hard to construct, especially for new users; most of them don't read #suggestions-guide, only click to get the role to suggest and get their ideas rejected.

April Fools
Since 2021, the Rise of Nations Discord server has been decorated for April Fools.
2021
- Every role color became purple
- Name of server was changed to "ron of nations [the real server trust me]
- Memes were allowed in general and rules were more lax
2022
- The server became themed around Communist China
- Event Community = McDonalds
- Wiki Community = Library
- Suggestions Discussion = Fuzhou Discussion
2023
The server became themed around Hello kitty.
- Name of the Discord was switched to Rise of Hello Kitty
- Wiki Community was turned into the Kitty Library
- Every general role color became pink and staff roles had a Hello Kitty icon that was re-colored to the respective role color.
2024
The server became themed around a medieval kingdom.
- The server was renamed to Rise of Empires
- Wiki Community was renamed to the Archives
- Every role was renamed to be based on the theme (ex. Knight), including staff roles and level roles.
- Debate was renamed to the Drunken Bar.
After the main April Fools ended, #debate was renamed to #debatistan after an inside joke. As of April 21, 2024 the channel is still named #debatistan.
