— Description of forming Pacific States of America |
The Pacific States of America, also known as the Pacific States, or simply the PS or PSA, is a formable in North America , formed by
Cascadia. When formed, it becomes a regional power, however, is still overshadowed by its neighbors and is mostly formed at the mercy of all North American nations.
Background[]
The idea of the Western coast of the United States being united has been brought up multiple times throughout the early 1800s and on. Figures like James Monroe and Thomas Hart Benton both thought of a state encompassing the region west of the Rockies. John McLoughlin also originally advocated for the West to be independent from the United States along with settlers of the Willamette Valley voting at the "Wolf Meetings" to establish an independent nation. Settlers of the Oregon Territory also attempted to create a "Pacific Republic that stretched from the Pacific Ocean to the Continental Divide".
Base Statistics[]
The Pacific States of America makes a base income around $2,300,000. Its population is 46,360,002 and becomes a regional power when formed.
Resources[]
Once formed, the P.S.A. makes a small number of resources, having only 3 resources in total.

Military[]
The formable also has a sizeable base manpower capacity of 927,201, making it stronger than Canada, but weaker than
Mexico and the fractured
United States.

Geography[]

The biomes of the P.S.A. through winter
Terrain[]
The Pacific States of America is Hilly in Cascadia and
Alaska, mountainous within British Columbia, and flat in
California. Overall, the P.S.A. does not have many outstanding features in its terrain.
Biome[]
The Pacific States have no biome for the most part, however its territories in Alaska are all Arctic. During the times before and after winter northern
Cascadia gets affected by Mild Winter and during winter the territories affected by Mild Winter become Severe Winter and southern Cascadia gets affected by Mild Winter.
Borders[]
The PS is bordered by Canada to the north and east,
Mexico, to the south, the Pacific Ocean to the west, and the
United States to the east.
Cities[]
The PSA has 165 cities, its most populous being Los Angeles.
Threats[]
- The
United States or
Canada if they may want to reconquer your land.
Mexico profiting off of a weakened
United States.
Russia possibly expanding into
Alaska once it is released.
Strategy[]
Pre Playthrough[]
W.I.P
Uniting the Pacific States[]
With all the factories needed for a successful playthrough already given to you, all you need to do is buy the necessary resources for them. Either switch to socialism or nationalism, and justify on California and
Alaska. Then, start spamming tanks for your conquests.
The Invasion of California[]
When you declare on California, use a bunch of tanks and infantry to conquer all Californian cities. The infantry will take care of California's mountains while the Tanks will attack the more populous flat areas. You could also use Transport Aircraft to carry tanks to deal with populous cities in mountainous areas, i.e. San Diego.
The Invasion of Alaska[]
The conquest of Alaska is almost impossible unless you have a transport aircraft. Because you pre-built an aircraft manufactory and an airport, you can now make a transport aircraft. Once it finishes construction, load a single tank unit on the transport aircraft. Then, fly to an Alaskan city, unload your tanks, capture the city, and load your tanks on the transport aircraft for the next conquest. Repeat this process until Alaska collapses and you can annex it.
Trivia[]
- Despite it being named the "Pacific States of America", the formable is not based on the region but a historic proposal that carried onto the Cascadia independence movement. If that didn't happen, this formable would have been removed since it had no other historical context.
