Pakistan is a Tier V nation located in South Asia . The country holds a notable degree of strength, characterized by a moderate economy, population, and manpower pool, establishing a foundation that enables swift development during the initial months of the game. The nation's geography includes significant features such as the Himalayan Mountains, which serve as a deterrent against potential neighboring countries.

However, Pakistan is in very close proximity to 2 superpowers: India and China, and since the country is one of the components of India's formable the, Maurya Empire, it usually results in annexation. Fortunately, India is not commonly occupied by a player, compared to its superpower counterparts, such as China and the United States, as India requires a certain amount of player experience to be unlocked.

Background[]

The land that is today Pakistan was part of the Indus Valley civilization thousands of years ago. This civilization flourished until 1500 BCE. In the coming centuries, the area would be invaded by numerous empires and civilizations primarily from the west. These included the Persians, the Greeks, and the Arabs who brought the religion of Islam to the region. From the 1500s to the 1700s the Mughal Empire dominated and thrived in the area of Pakistan.

In the 18th century the British took control of the region of Bengal, then part of India and Pakistan. They would name it British Raj the until 1947. In 1947 the British split up the British Raj into three parts: India, Pakistan, and East Pakistan (which would later become Bangladesh). India, China and Pakistan have long fought over a disputed region called Jammu and Kashmir.

In 1998 Pakistan conducted nuclear weapons testing. This was in response to India performing its own nuclear tests. Relations are still strained between the two countries.

Pakistan is now a minor superpower, with a population higher than Russia.

Geography[]

Pakistan

Pakistan Terrain

Mostly hilly terrain and mountainous in Kashmir and Western Pakistan. Contains small amounts of arid terrain, which borders India.

Cities[]

Pakistan has 41 cities, the biggest being Karachi. There's a large cluster of cities in Pakistan's Northern borders, around the Kashmir province.

It has 2 port cities, and the main port city is Karachi, making Pakistan vulnerable to being landlocked as a attacking nations just need to take Karachi megacity and a small port city(60% of Pakistan trades by sea is by Karachi).

Threats[]

Strategies[]

Starting Moves[]

When you start as Pakistan, you have the advantage of bordering weak countries and having access to the ocean. However, you also have a major threat, India. You can try to expand as much as possible before India can get you.

Industrialization[]

You first want to build 2 electronic factories, 1 steel factory, and 1 motor factory. Put these factories in areas that you will defend well. Once the electronic factories are done building, you will want to sell all these electronics to AI. The steel and motor factories will allow you to produce tanks in the future.

If you manage to get access to more money, make sure to also build a fertilizer and 2 Consumer Goods factory too. Also make sure to buy the resources which you need to sustain your factories!

Diplomacy and War[]

Your first move should be to justify conquest on and capture Afghanistan as well as justify liberation on India. Why liberation? If India finishes their conquest justification, you want to also attack them using the liberation casus belli so they cannot annex you. Justify conquest on Tajikistan as well. But keep an eye on your neighbor India for signs of an impending attack. You will also want to focus all your research spending points into the research tree, the faster you finish it, the more benefits in the long term. You also will want to ally someone such as China so they can deter an Indian invasion in the future.

War Against India[]

Defending Against India[]

  1. India will most likely troop spam or spam tanks, you want to first fortify your two largest cities as well as your capital.
  2. Make sure you create ~400K infantry and split them up to and march one of them to Lahore while the other to Karachi. You might also want to create 150k troops to defend your capital as well. Switch your military doctrine to massed attack so you get more manpower to fight India with. Make sure to train your troops if you also have the money to do so.
  3. When India declares, create around 2k tanks and focus them inside your capital, these tanks will be used for the counter-attack later on.
  4. Wait until India's units die to your defenses, ignore if your other cities are being taken, so long as they're not Karachi, Lahore, or your capital.
  5. Next, use the tanks to recapture the cities India took from you.
  6. Once you have recaptured most of your land, you will want to then create around 2k more tanks adding up to a total of 4k tanks and split them up and set them all to auto-capture on Indian lands. Make sure to select a few tanks to manually invade New Delhi as well. Do not do this if India creates even more troops or tanks. Instead, focus on defense and continue building more infantry inside your capital city, Lahore, and Karachi. If Indian forces are defeated, then go on the offensive.
  7. If you have successfully destroyed Indian forces as well as taken New Delhi, invading the rest of India should be straight forward as the player likely will give up and leave India.
  8. After you have India, take the remaining countries needed to form Mughal Empire. If they've already been taken (for instance Afghanistan is often targeted by Iran) then declare war on them and take all of their land, since you have a very big economy and you can crush them easily.

Attacking AI India[]

  1. After making at least 1k tank divisions, make 5 of them and with infantry support if you have extra manpower. The plan here is to entrench before the enemy comes in and attack so you get less casualties. Entrench and attack one near Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai, Kolkata, and 1 extra tank division for backup. Make more divisions when possible
  2. Once all of India's troops are dead, beginning taking over India. Get extra divisions if possible. Also seek help if you really need to(in debt, money problems, manpower problem, high war exhaustion).
  3. See war exhaustion? Put government spending on low.
  4. If India suddenly became not AI(rare), begin getting allies like China to help. If none helps, consider a forceful retreat and build a navy.
  5. Congrats after getting India. Annex Bangladesh and form the Mughal Empire.

Forming the Islamic Caliphate[]

Attacking Afghanistan and Southern Central Asia[]

First switch your doctrines to mass attack, create a military group with a military general with an increase in attack. Next Build one Motor and Steel factories and buy the needed resources to supply them. After that justify and attack Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, Afghanistan is required for the Islamic Caliphate and Tajikistan and Uzbekistan have resources that you need like Tungsten and Phosphate. You might need to invade these countries quickly if Iran and Russia are players as they usually annex these lands for their formidable.

Iran[]

If Iran is a player[]

Iran is a player most of the time. If they are a player, first, mass produce Infantry and build a few Tanks and specialize them with arid specialization and build some Artillery and Transport Aircraft as well.Next build Mines and factories to make Tanks Consumer Goods for your Stability. After that mass produce troops and specialize them with arid specialization and then declare war on Iran. If Iran is a powerful player, you might want to attack more countries before attacking them. When you're ready to attack Iran, use Tanks,Artillery and defensive bonuses to your advantage.

If Iran is AI[]

If Iran is AI, make sure to make bigger clumps of units instead of all-out troop spam as your troops will take tons of Attrition from Iran's mountains and desert.

After Taking Iran[]

Turkey should be your next stop. Turkey is almost always a player and if it isn't, it's almost always taking by a European superpower. Turkey has a less mountainous terrain and more hilly terrain than Iran, which makes it easier to invade, however infantry will be more useful than Tanks as the hilly terrain will slow them down so make some tanks and command them to attack Turkey's most largest and important cities like Izmir,Ankara and Istanbul. Capture a few Eastern cities then halt all your units and form a line, Turkey will likely try to counter this defensive line. After all their troops die, put all your units onto auto-capture. You should then steamroll through Turkey.

Arabian Peninsula[]

Invading the Arabian peninsula[]

Fist justify and attack Oman, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Yemen in that order. Now,work your way up the Arabian peninsula, by invading Saudi Arabia by sending troops from your newly gained colonies in the Arabian peninsula, then invade Jordan, Iraq, Palestine, Israel, Syria and Cyprus

If Egypt is a player[]

If Egypt is AI[]

The rest of North Africa[]

Iberian Peninsula[]

Congratulations you have now formed the Islamic caliphate
