— Description of forming Persian Empire |
The Persian Empire is a formable of Iran which stretches from the Balkans to
Pakistan. The Persian Empire encompasses a vast amount of land and can be quite difficult to form. You will get the Shahenshah title by forming it. It spans three continents: Africa
, Asia
, Europe
.

The Achaemenid Empire or Achaemenian Empire, also known as the First Persian Empire was the ancient Iranian empire founded by Cyrus the Great of the Achaemenid dynasty in 550 BC. Based in Western Asia, it was the largest empire the world had ever seen at its time, spanning a total of 5.5 million square kilometres (2.1 million square miles) from the Balkans and Egypt in the west to Central Asia and the Indus Valley in the east.
The empire was founded by Cyrus the Great in 550BCE. Cyrus first conquered the Median Empire in 550 BCE and then went on to conquer the Lydians and the Babylonians. Under later kings, the empire would grow to where it ruled Mesopotamia, Under King Darius the Persians wanted to conquer the Greeks who he felt were causing rebellions within his empire. In 490 BC Darius attacked Greece. He captured some Greek city-states, but when he attempted to take the city of Athens, he was soundly defeated by the Athenians at the Battle of Marathon. In 480 BC Darius' son, Xerxes I, attempted to finish what his father started - to conquer all of Greece. He amassed a great army totalling hundreds of thousands of warriors (one of the largest armies ever assembled during ancient times) and marched with it into Greek territory. The army encountered a much smaller Greek army made primarily of Greek warriors from The Persian Empire was conquered by the Greeks led by Alexander the Great. Starting in the year 334 BC, Alexander the Great conquered the Persian Empire from Egypt all the way to the borders of |
Modifier[]
When formed, the Persian Empire grants a modifier indefinitely called "The Unrivaled Might of Persia" Granting:
- Integration speed: +15%
- Manpower Increase: -10%
- Infantry Starting Experience: +25%
- Building Cost: -25%
Economy and Manpower[]
The Persian Empire makes $11.5 million every turn. It's income similar to Brazil or India, both of which are democratic by default.
The Persian Empire also has a maximum manpower cap of 4,151,999. Easily enough to conquer more nations around you.
Strategy[]
Make Electronics factories as usual and sell them to AI. Then, once you have economy and stability down, focus on 2 countries: Turkey and
Pakistan. They will be your main concerns for the time being. Usually Turkey is a player, and Pakistan is taken by
India sometimes. Attack Pakistan (and all the other central asian countries needed, but later) with troops (as your terrain will make it difficult to use tanks) and invade Pakistan, or if it’s taken focus on Turkey and negotiate with India later. You can take the middle eastern countries fairly easily so long as
Saudi Arabia is not a player (which it isn’t most of the time). Once you have a coast, make ships to bombard and protect yout troops as they make their way to
Egypt. Justify on Egypt and get your troops ready. Make it a suprise invasion if it is a real player or use AI Luring to defeat the AI. Otheriwse, make it as secret as possible. Once you start the suprise attack, quickly head to their capital and use capital sniping to make the enemy panic and do something stupid (like waste manpower, send all their troops when you are entrenched, etc.). If they have home guard perform Blitzkrieg and capture their cities and annex them. While you were doing this, you should have been preparing for a Turkish invasion. Make Tanks and transport them quickly to the coast. Again, make it look as secret as possible to Turkey that you are going to attack. As soon as you are ready, declare on Turkey and use the troops you had in water to make a quick journey to their capital and major cities instead of the tedious Irani terrain. Once you caught them off guard and quickly invaded their country, the rest should be a breeze. By now you should clean up any small countries that you may not have taken and if needed, negotiate with India for Pakistan and
Russia for the Caucasus. This formable, however, comes with may risks and threats as listed below in the “Threats” Section.
After this, focus on defense of the mainland as you are basically unconquerable, and it’s best to fortify to avoid surprise attacks. You can also expand into Arabia, North Africa, and Europe. Be wary of some Greeks though…
Geography[]
The Terrain in heartland Persia is extremely mountainous, so it is very hard and tedious to invade. The terrain elsewhere is flat or hilly, with the exception of the Caucasus mountains and the Himalaya mountains at Pakistan, which are Mountainous. The Biome is arid everywhere except for Turkey, the Caucasus, the Nile region in Egypt, and parts of Central Asia, which are normal. The Persian Empire borders Russia,
Kazakhstan,
China, India,
Saudi Arabia,
Libya,
Sudan,
Greece and
Bulgaria.
Formables[]
The Persian Empire can only form its last formable, the Islamic Caliphate, which needs North Africa, South(west) Asia, Turkey, and Iberia to form. Some players may choose to form the
Khwarazmian Dynasty after this empire.
Threats[]

Afghanistan and
Pakistan for

Russian Empire.
Turkey is usually a player and needs
Syria,

Israel,
Jordan, and
Iraq for the
