The panel where releasables can be liberated as an independent nation or a puppet state. The interface also shows several statistics of the releasable, such as base population, city amount, or certain territory can be selected.

Releasables per Nation as of the 04/03/2025 Minor Update (April 3, 2025)
Releasables are nations or groups of cities that are not playable at the beginning of a game because they are locked within the borders of a sovereign country. It can be thought of as an annexed country that is undergoing or completed integration but may declare independence and become sovereign due to the parent nation reaching low stability.
Releasables can also intentionally be liberated by utilizing the release panel as the gatekeeper, though it is required for the user to play at least 10 minutes (600 seconds) as the guardian country before the release function becomes online.
Fast Liberation[]
Important Warning[]
Important Warning: In order to align with the game rules, one cannot abuse the method below in order to intentionally grief or destroy nations or formables, as it is a violation against the regulations. In order to abide by ingame rules you may only release specifically the releasable that you would like to play as. Releasing any more releasables may cause a violation of ingame rules.
Method[]
One is able to bypass the 10 minute ruler timer and quickly liberate their releasables by using the method below.
(Note that the second and third parts of the tutorial only apply to AI-controlled nations. In player-controlled nations, the recipient player can accept the treaty without having their territory be captured by the sender.)
- Justify and declare a Liberation War on a nation that is preferably a microstate (a country that only holds one city)
- Upon declaring war, you are required to annex the belligerent's territory until the notification that alerts the country has collapsed appears. Sending the treaty immediately without occupying its territory will automatically reject the terms.
- Once the capitulation alert appears, open the peace treaty panel.
- Select 'Concede Terms' on the top right.
- Click 'Liberate Countries'.
- Upon the dropdown, select the releasables you plan to liberate.
- Send terms.
Upon negotiating, the releasables that were particularly chosen from the treaty will automatically break away from their former country.
Suggestions[]
The Suggestions Council has made an official releasable document which can be found here.
Releasable List[]
Note: Releasable capital cities are automatically set to the most populated city once it declares independence. For example, California's capital in real life is Sacramento, but in game, it is Los Angeles. It should also be noted that a releasable can only have one capital city, meaning the city can randomize if the releasable is distributed between two or more sovereign states.
All tables below list all the releasables in alphabetical order.
Current Releasables[]
Formables that are pinpointed with a * (asterisk) are considered and undergoing development; however, the status of implementation is subject to change.
Considered Releases[]
As of March 2025, there are currently 13 considered releasables that have been approved by the Suggestions Council. However, there is no guarantee that all of them will be added with complete certainty.

Trivia[]
Palestine was once a releasable cored within
Israel; however, it was given its sovereignty as an independent nation in the game during the 11/21/2022 Update (November 11, 2022).
- Two dependent territories are releasables,
Puerto Rico and
Aland despite all other territories being starting nations in this game.
- Releasables that declare independence are capable of dynamically changing colors (in the 'Political' map mode), which seemingly varies in each server. For example, in one server,
Texas may appear as brown upon liberated, whereas it may be green in another server/match.
- Two or more releasables can also possess the same national color within the Political map mode, even if they all share an international border.
- Upon liberating all releasables, there will be a grand total of 458 independent nations, as of 10/25/2023 Major Update (October 25, 2023).
Russia has the most releasables, numbering in at 34, followed by
China with 23 and
Italy with 13.
- As of the 10/25/2023 Major Update (October 25, 2023), there are 219 releasables in the game.
