The Sahrawi Sultanate was a formable in Northwest Africa which can be created by Mauritania and Western Sahara, and requires Mauritania, Western Sahara, Morocco, Algeria, and Mali to be formed. It was removed from the game on the update of November 11, 2022, along with many other African formables.

History

The Sahrawi, or Saharawi people, is a media term and a political term denoting the population of the western part of the Sahara Desert which includes Western Sahara, southern Morocco, much of Mauritania and the extreme southwest of Algeria. In reality there is no specific "Sahrawi" ethnicity or language.

As with most peoples living in the Sahara, the Sahrawi culture is actually a mix of Berber, Black African and Arab elements. It shows mainly Berber people core characteristics with Arab cultural elements. The privileged position of women in Sahrawi tribes is a Berber tradition that predates the arrival of Islam and Arabs, as well as characteristics common to ethnic groups of the Sahel. Sahrawis are composed of many tribes and are largely speakers of the Hassaniya dialect of Arabic, and some of them still speak Berber in Morocco.

Economy and Manpower

Strategy

Start as Western Sahara or Mauritania.

1. Build a recruitment center in the capital. Also build an Electronics Factory to keep your economy afloat.
2. If you are Mauritania, take Western Sahara first. If you are Western Sahara, take Mauritania first.
3. Take Morocco before any European power such as Spain takes it.
4. Now that you have Morocco, you should have a decent manpower capacity. Store some manpower and take Algeria.
5. Last but not least, declare war on Mali and annex them. That should be easy at this point.
