Sao Tome and Principe is a Tier I nation located off the coast of Africa .
Background[]
São Tomé and Príncipe, officially the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe, is an island country in the Gulf of Guinea, off the western equatorial coast of Central Africa. It consists of two archipelagos around the two main islands of São Tomé and Príncipe, about 140 km (87 mi) apart and about 250 and 225 km (155 and 140 mi) off the northwestern coast of Gabon, respectively.
The islands were uninhabited until their discovery by Portuguese explorers in the 15th century. Gradually colonized and settled by the Portuguese throughout the 16th century, they collectively served as a vital commercial and trade center for the Atlantic slave trade. The rich volcanic soil and close proximity to the Equator made São Tomé and Príncipe ideal for sugar cultivation, followed later by cash crops such as coffee and cocoa; the lucrative plantation economy was heavily dependent upon imported African slaves. Cycles of social unrest and economic instability throughout the 19th and 20th centuries culminated in peaceful independence in 1975. São Tomé and Príncipe has since remained one of Africa's most stable and democratic countries. São Tomé and Príncipe is the second-smallest African sovereign state after Seychelles, as well as the smallest Portuguese-speaking country. Its people are predominantly of African and mestiço descent, with most practicing Roman Catholicism. The legacy of Portuguese rule is also visible in the country's culture, customs, and music, which fuse European and African influences. São Tomé and Príncipe is a founding member state of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries, as it is a Lusophone place. |

Strategy[]
First, make one electronics factory. Then once it has been completed, sell the electronics to rich AI's like India and China, however, if both are players, Phillippines and Argentina are good alternatives.
Make around 30k infantry and begin to train it for jungle biome as most of the countries you are going to invade are infested with it. The fastest way to annex your first country from here is to buy 1 oil and make a submarine. Then justify on Equatorial Guinea and
Gabon as both are relatively weak, close and easy to take. At this point
Nigeria is a lot stronger than you, and so you should ally them if possible. However, if they decline, attempt to ally other African nations such as
South Africa and
Egypt.
When the justifications are complete, declare war on Equatorial Guinea and move your infantry to Malabo (the island with Equatorial Guineas capital). The Equatorial Guinea's home guard should die to your submarine and after that you can split your troops in two and take over Eq. Guinea. Alternatively, let your troops entrench on Malabo and wait for the home guard to come over to the island where they will die. When you're done turn Government spending on low or medium to prevent stability loss due to unrest.
From here Gabon is the next natural target. Before declaring war you should justify on Cameroon and
Republic of Congo, which would be the next steps after Gabon.
