Sierra Leone is a Tier II nation located in West Africa . It is a prime target due to its production of Titanium, a component used to make Steel.

Sierra Leone borders Liberia and Guinea.

Background[]

Sierra Leone is one of the only nations to own titanium, making it a prime target for colonialism. Sierra Leone (/siˌɛrə liˈoʊn(i)/ (listen), also UK: /siˌɛərə -/, US: /ˌsɪərə -/), officially the Republic of Sierra Leone, informally Salone, is a country on the southwest coast of West Africa. It is bordered by Liberia to the southeast and Guinea to the northeast. Sierra Leone has a tropical climate with a diverse environment ranging from savanna to rainforests, a total area of 71,740 km2 (27,699 sq mi) and a population of 7,092,113 as of the 2015 census. The capital and largest city is Freetown. The country is divided into five administrative regions which are subdivided into sixteen districts. Sierra Leone is a constitutional republic with a unicameral parliament and a directly elected president. Sierra Leone is a Muslim majority country at approximately 78%, though with a politically influential Christian minority at about 21%. Muslims and Christians interact very well together and religious violence is extremely rare in the country. All the major Muslim and Christian holidays are officially national holidays in the country.

Sixteen ethnic groups inhabit Sierra Leone, the two largest and most influential being the Temne and Mende peoples. About 2% of the country's population are Krio, descendants of freed African American and West Indian slaves. English is the official language used in schools and government administration; however, Krio is the most widely spoken language across Sierra Leone, spoken by 97% of the country's population. Sierra Leone is very rich in natural resources, especially diamond, gold, bauxite and aluminum. The country is a member of the United Nations, African Union, Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), Mano River Union, Commonwealth of Nations, African Development Bank, and Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

Geography[]

Terrain[]

Sierra Leone is completely flat.

Biome[]

Its biome is mainly composed of Jungle.

Cities[]

Sierra Leone has one port, which is also its capital.

Threats[]

Sierra Leone is one of the most colonized places on Africa, mainly because of its Titanium production, which is a main component required to produce Steel and Aircraft Parts, otherwise, its only non-overseas threat is Nigeria or any other country that aims to unite Africa.

It has only 1 port, meaning it's hard for the country to develop a navy that will protect it from colonizers without annexing other nearby countries.

There is also a high tendency for Brazil or the United States to annex you for extra money or resources, most notably Titanium.

Strategy[]

First up, make forts, it is for defending against Nigeria if they are a player, if not build recruitment centers. Make mines after the recruitment centers are done, justify on Liberia so you can get Iron and make steel factories. Buy Copper and Gold so you can make Electronic Factories, sell the Electronics so you can make profit, now declare war on Liberia and take a nearby city first, ensue the magic of AI Luring, then auto-capture. Justify on Guinea and Cote d'Ivoire, train your troops and make a Steel Factory. Buy Tungsten from Bolivia or Uganda, after the steel factory is finished, a motor factory to produce tanks to invade Guinea and Cote d'Ivoire. Go socialist so that your factories can produce more. After taking them, justify on Senegal and The Gambia, take them with your tanks and justify on Mali and Burkina Faso. Blitz across Mali and Burkina Faso. Justify on Ghana and Togo. Take them and do the same for Benin. You now border Nigeria, prepare alot of tanks and justify on Nigeria and Niger, after the justification, develop some cities and then declare war. Take a city in the west, and send tanks to Lagos, after capturing Lagos, blitz across Nigeria and Niger.

Domination of Africa[]

If you aim to form the African Union, this strategy is intended for players like you. After forming, take Morocco by making a numerous amount of tanks as possible as Spain has a high chance to have annexed it in the time you took to annex the previously mentioned nations. Take Algeria as well for its resources. Connect up your lands by taking Mauritania, which should be easy. After that, focus on Central Africa and take CAR by infantry and artillery, prepare tanks for the DRC and take its neighbors, declare on the DRC and Blitzkrieg across it. It is also recommended to bring a navy at the port. Now take the rest of Africa, be wary of various colonizers threatening your formation. Now, good luck!
