The Sikh Empire was a regional power based in the Punjab region of South Asia. At its peak in the 19th century, the empire extended from Gilgit and Tibet in the north to the deserts of Sindh in the south and from the Khyber Pass in the west to the Sutlej in the east as far as Oudh.
The Sikh Empire emerged under the leadership of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, who consolidated various Sikh territories and created a unified Sikh state in the region of Punjab. Ranjit Singh became the first Maharaja of the Sikh Empire in 1801. Under Ranjit Singh's rule, the Sikh Empire expanded its territory through a series of military campaigns and diplomacy. The empire extended from the Khyber Pass in the west to the Sutlej River in the east, including parts of present-day Pakistan, India, and Afghanistan. The Sikh Empire implemented administrative reforms, including a centralized administration, a strong military, and a system of justice. Ranjit Singh also promoted religious tolerance and allowed for the coexistence of different religious communities within his empire. The Sikh Empire maintained a complex relationship with the East India Company, which was expanding its influence in the Indian subcontinent. The empire engaged in both cooperation and armed conflicts with the British, including the Anglo-Sikh Wars, which ultimately led to the downfall of the Sikh Empire. The Sikh Empire faced internal challenges after the death of Maharaja Ranjit Singh in 1839. Factionalism, court intrigues, and weak leadership weakened the empire. The British took advantage of these internal divisions and launched military campaigns against the Sikh forces. The Second Anglo-Sikh War in 1848-1849 resulted in the annexation of the Sikh Empire by the British East India Company. |
Strategy[]
Start as India, justify and declare a Liberation war on Maldives, invade Maldives, then liberate Khalistan. Next, switch to Khalistan and buy the resources for your factories. Create tanks and justify on Pakistan and Kashmir. Create infantry for Kashmir, and take Kashmir. AI lure Pakistan’s troops, and auto capture, but force peace Karachi. Then justify on Afghanistan and take them. Now you can take India. Just use your tanks, and take a coastal city. The Indian troops will come, but transport ships are weak, so then you can auto capture and form! If any players exist, just eliminate them as India before hand.
