— Description of forming Trio Java |
Trio Java was a fictional formable of Botswana that required the player to annex
Angola and
Namibia. It was removed in the December 2020 update, due to being controversial within the community in part to its made-up nature with zero real-world basis. Despite it's fictional nature, the formable developed a cult following within the Rise of Nations community, leading to the creation of Roblox avatar items themed around it and an entire detailed fictional lore for it written by the community, which can be read here.
Background and Removal[]
The Kingdom of Trio Java was a completely fictional formable, first suggested and added to the game by the end of 2019. Unlike some fictional formables that are based on literary works or popular alternate history scenarios, Trio Java was completely made up. As a result, it was removed from the game in the Events and Biomes Update in December 2020 following popular demand.
However, by that point, Trio Java had earned a cult following status within the Rise of Nations community, and it's removal sparked controversy. As part of its cult following, a full detailed lore was written by the community for the country (which can be read here), and several pieces of Roblox clothing were made in remembrance of Trio Java.
Base Statistics[]
Economy[]
Trio Java had a base income of $606,501.
Resources[]
Trio Java produced a lot of resources within its borders. This included about 8-9 units of copper, 10 units of diamonds, 3 units of gold, 4 units of iron and oil, and 1 unit of phosphate and uranium.
Military[]
Botswana had a base manpower capacity of 186,206, based on the Volunteer conscription law. It is unknown what the base manpower income of the formable was back when it was in the game, however, attempting to replicate it through private servers on modern versions of the game suggests that it could have had about 960~ base income every tick.
Geography[]
Terrain and Biome[]
Trio Java did not have any terrain whatsoever, and was completely flat. However, some of the territory that once made up Trio Java now features Hilly terrain in modern versions of the game, particularly the areas on the coast. The north portion of Trio Java had the Jungle biome, while the south was Arid.
Borders[]
It was bordered by the Republic of Congo, the
Democratic Republic of the Congo,
Zambia, and
South Africa.
Cities[]
Trio Java had 70 cities. Many of these cities were sparsely populated, with only two cities, Luanda and Huambo in Angola, having over one million people. The other three largest cities in order were Windhoek in
Namibia, Gaberone in
Botswana (and consequentially, generally the capital city of the formable), and Lobito, Angola.
Trivia[]
