The Turks and Caicos Islands is a Tier I nation located in North America , above the nations of
Haiti and the
Dominican Republic.
It is rarely played, due to its weak economy and unfavorable location close to the United States, which increases its odds of being colonised for a naval and aerial base, or for the United States to get rid of a threat in the Caribbean.
Background[]
The Turks and Caicos Islands are a British Overseas Territory consisting of the larger Caicos Islands and smaller Turks Islands, two groups of tropical islands in the Lucayan Archipelago of the Atlantic Ocean and northern West Indies. They are known primarily for tourism and as an offshore financial centre. The resident population was 31,458 as of 2012 of whom 23,769 live on Providenciales in the Caicos Islands; July 2020 estimates put the population at 55,926. It is the third largest of the British overseas territories by population.
The Turks and Caicos Islands lie southeast of Mayaguana in The Bahamas island chain, northeast of Cuba, and north of the island of Hispaniola (Haiti and the Dominican Republic). The islands have a total land area of 430 square kilometres (170 sq mi).
The Turks and Caicos Islands were inhabited for centuries by native Amerindian peoples. The first recorded European sighting of the islands occurred in 1512. In the subsequent centuries, the islands were claimed by several European powers, with the British Empire eventually gaining control. For many years the islands were governed indirectly through Bermuda, the Bahamas, and Jamaica. When the Bahamas gained independence in 1973, the islands received their own governor, and have remained a separate autonomous British Overseas Territory since.

Strategy[]
Make one Electronics Factory in your capital city, and buy the resources necessary for it to function. Research "Factory Output II" in the Economy tab in Technology meanwhile. Once the factory is done, sell the surplus Electronics from it to strong AI nations, generally 3-5 depending on their size and economy.
Turn your manpower into infantry, and invade your neighbors. Spend your Technology Points on Research meanwhile. Once your treasury is large enough, begin expanding diplomatically by asking for alliances throughout South America and Europe
. Possibly try to ally the
United States as well. Justify war on the
Dominican Republic and
Haiti. Get the "Military Service Act" policy, and wait until your increased manpower capacity fills up. Turn all of your manpower into infantry, and spend your technology points on increasing infantry speed and attack. Specialize your infantry to the Jungle specialization.
Declare war on the Dominican Republic, and split your infantry into as many groups as you can. Use Auto-capture to occupy the nation. Since their capital is extremely populous compared to their other cities, simply try to take every other city they have, and then use the "Select Cities" option in the negotiation tab to force peace their capital. Repeat these steps for Haiti and
Jamaica.
