The Unification of Saint Martin is the proposed unification of the small island of Saint Martin, located in the Caribbean Sea. Currently, it is divided into Sint Maarten, one of the constituent countries within the
Kingdom of the Netherlands, and the Collectivity of
Saint Martin, an integral part of
France. The island has been divided since the signing of the Treaty of Concordia in 1648, which today remains as one of the oldest treaties still in effect.
On 31 August 1990, the "Unity Flag" of Saint Martin was adopted at the Preliminary Conference on National Symbols at the Philipsburg Jubilee Library, in Sint Maarten. This flag was created to represent the people of both halves of the island and the unification of the latter, and is hoisted today on some houses and sometimes by churches and religious groups in Saint Martin. |
Economy and Manpower[]
It has a base manpower capacity of 60,000 (such as many other tier I countries) with a manpower increase of 303. Its base income is $96,232.
Geography[]
Cities[]
It only has 2 cities, both being the capitals of the two required countries. those cities are:
- Philipsburg (
Sint Maarten)
- Marigot (
Saint Martin)
Terrain and Biome[]
The Union of Saint Martin has no terrain or biome due to both cities being islands.
Borders[]
The formable doesn't have borders as the required countries are islands and as a result, they don't border any country. However, some close countries are:
Strategy[]
- As soon as you start the game, start justifying the attack on
Saint Martin (if you playing as
Sint Maarten), usually it is done for 25 days).
- Аs long as it is justified, you can create another infantry division just in case.
- If you speedrun, you can research the maximum possible at the start infantry damage, it will help to kill the enemy army faster.
- Earlier before the end of the justification, move all your troops to
Saint Barthelemy without going into ship mode.
- When the war is justified, start it and immediately return the troops to your city before the enemy troops have captured it. Saint-Martin and Sint Maarten have the same starting troops, so it is important to add at least one division
- When the start troops kill each other, the remaining soldiers will take over the city.

This strategies only works against bots, as their behavior is easy to predict. Players almost never play for any of the countries needed to form the Union of The Saint Martin
Threats[]
Along with the proximity of the troops in both countries (being impossible to declare war without moving your troops to the sea) and the entrenchment, this formable isn't as easy as most people think. However, there aren't many threats to worry about while forming it.
