During the Xinhai Revolution of 1911, fourteen provinces proclaimed independence from the Qing dynasty and reunited as the
Republic of China. But when the Guizhou Provincial Consultative Council proclaimed independence, they asked to build the Great Han Federal Democratic Republic. Prior to January 1912, one semi-official translation of the country's new name used by revolutionary Shanghai Military Government was the United Provinces of China. Sun Yat-sen's title in 1912 was "President of the Provisional Government of the United Provinces of China".

The Beiyang government was the internationally recognized government of the Republic of China between 1912 and 1928, based in Beijing. It was dominated by the generals of the Beiyang Army, giving it its name.
Beiyang general Yuan Shikai gave Sun Yat-sen the military support he needed to overthrow the Qing dynasty and establish the
Republic of China in 1912. Through his control of the army, Yuan was quickly able to dominate the new Republic. Although the government and the state were nominally under civilian control through the Republic's constitution, Yuan and his generals were effectively in charge of it. After Yuan's death in 1916, the army split into various warlord factions competing for power, leading to a period of civil war called the Warlord Era. Nevertheless, the government maintained its legitimacy among the great powers, receiving diplomatic recognition, foreign loans, and access to tax and customs revenue.
Economy & Manpower[]
The United Provinces of China have a base income of nearly 18 million as well as a large MP capacity of 7 million.
Geography[]
Terrain[]
Most of the southeastern portion of the United Provinces of China consists of flat terrain. Semi-Mountainous terrain may be found in the southwest, especially near the border with Tibet. The northeast near
Kazakhstan consists of Semi-Mountainous territory whilst the United Provinces's territory in
Qinghai is Hilly.
Biome[]
The eastern portion of the United Provinces holds no biome. To the south lies the Jungle biome which stretches all the way to the border with Vietnam. Arid climate is prevalent from the border with
Tibet to
Qinghai.
Manchuria gets affected Mild Winter and, later, Severe Winter.
Strategy[]
The easiest nation to federate China with will be Manchuria.
Starting[]
Start the game as China. Select the cities of any releasable you want to federate China with and develop them twice, as well as build recruitment centers on all of them. Build 1 Steel, 1 Motor, 2 Electronics, 1 Fertilizer, and 1 civilian factories in the releasable, and justify Liberation on
Macau. Declare War and concede Terms. Click on Liberate and select a releasable other than
East Turkestan,
Southern Mongolia and
Tibet, as they cannot form it. Then, demand those terms. After this, abandon nation to play as that releasable.
Manchuria[]
Start off by allying India,
Japan, and
Russia. Announce your intention to federate China to the server, so that they, hopefully, are less likely to take the regions you need. Purchase the resources to run the factories built by you as China, and start constructing tanks and around 50k infantry for
Southern Mongolia. Justify a War goal on Southern Mongolia and
China. Declare war on the Nations you Justified against. Use Infantry for Southern Mongolia and Tanks for
China. Continue to construct tanks for Southern China while build Infantry for Northwestern China (such as
East Turkestan). Justify war goals on different warlords while you continue to reconquer China. When you arrive at Tibet, make specialized infantry divisions trained for Mountains, and then invade it. All of China is now yours.

Trivia[]
- When it was initially added into the test server, it lacked the tiles apart of
Tibet but was quickly fixed.
- Interestingly, despite the name, the formable is not based on Chinese federalism but the Beiyang government, named that way to distinguish it from the
Republic of China.
- The name "United Provinces of China" was briefly used by the Provisional Government of the Republic of China
