Background[]
The United States of Latin Africa was a proposed union of romance-speaking countries into on large federal entity. it was envisioned by Barthélémy Boganda, who first called for the union to form in 1957. the idea broke off after Boganda's death in 1959. Boganda originally wanted the union to form because it would be an effective counterweight to South Africa and the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland. But a few people thought it would create religious divides, meaning conflict.
Terrain and Biomes[]
Most of the USLA is in a Jungle biome, with the only exceptions being Southern Angola, the south tip of the DRC, Northern Cameroon, the Central African Republic, and Chad, which is Arid in the north. Burundi and Rwanda are fully Hilly, while Cameroon is hilly in the north and the west.
Strategy[]
Democratic Republic of the Congo Strategy[]
You want to start off by producing tanks, 2,000 is fine. Train the Tanks for Jungle Specialization. Justify on the Republic of Congo and Angola. Use the infantry troops you got at the start of the game to lure the Republic of Congo's forces away from Brazzaville. Use the tanks you produced to move in and take the capital. Take over the rest of the country, and then move down to Angola.
After taking over Angola, move your troops to Rwanda and Burundi. Once you take over the two, you have taken over the outer, weird placed countries, and you can know solely focus on the north. Take over Gabon, and then build 1 submarine. Once you build the submarine, place it between Equatorial Guinea's Island and mainland. Send troops to Equatorial Guinea's capital island. This will cause the Equatorial Guinean troops, which are stationed in the mainland, to try and cross the sea to the island, where you placed your submarine. the submarine will deal with the troops, while you safely take over Equatorial Guinea.
After that, build 3 destroyers, and declare war on Sao Tome and Principe. Do not send any troops yet, just place your destroyers in range of Sao Tome and Principe's troops. while they are whittling down their forces, take over Cameroon. If Sao Tome and Principe's troop level is suitable for invasion, you can send your infantry troops you get at the start of the game, or you can just send your tanks. Next, take over the Central African Republic. After taking over, you want to train your troops for Arid Specialization. Finally, you should be able to take over Chad easily.
Angola Strategy[]
Start by making 2,000 tanks, and then train them for Jungle Specialization. Angola's strategy is similar to that of the DRC's strategy, just a different country with less manpower and resources. Using your tanks, take over the Democratic Republic of the Congo. After that, take over Rwanda, Burundi, and the Republic of Congo. You can now focus on the north.
Next, take over Gabon, and then build 1 submarine. Once you build the submarine, place it between Equatorial Guinea's island and the mainland. send troops to Equatorial Guinea's capital, Malabo. This will cause the Equatorial Guinean troops, stationed on the mainland, to try and cross the sea to the island, where you placed your submarine. The submarine will deal with the troops, while you safely take over Equatorial Guinea. After that, build 3 destroyers, and declare war on Sao Tome and Principe.
Do not send any troops yet, just place your destroyers in range of Sao Tome and Principe's troops. while they are whitling down their forces, take over Cameroon.
