The United States of North Asia is a formable for Siberia, located in Northern Asia
. The formable was added on March 29th, 2023 along with many other formables. It can only be formed upon the release of
Siberia, and is one of the most resource rich formables in the game with rich resource deposits and access to Asia
and Europe
.

Some radical members in 1863 presumably prepared a revolt in Siberia together with exiled Poles and Ukrainians, trying to achieve independence and to begin the development of a Siberian state, similar to the United States.[citation needed] Tsarist authorities arrested and imprisoned forty-four members of the group in May 1865, after watch-officers of the Siberian Cadet Corps searched cadet Arseny Samsonov, aged 16, for illicit items and found a proclamation entitled "To Patriots of Siberia", attributed to a collective authorship of Grigory Potanin, Nikolay Yadrintsev, Serafim Serafimovich Shashkov [ru] (1841–1882), et al. The Russian revolutionary Mikhail Bakunin (1814–1876) supported the idea of an autonomous Siberia in the hope it would become a democratic state, prosperous within a union with United States and leading to the collapse of Imperial Russia.Local thinkers and settlers saw Siberia as means of escape from the oppression of the Russian Empire, and as the seed of a possible free and democratic country that would spread freedom across Asia. In the end of the 19th and at beginning of the 20th century, Siberian regionalists led by Potanin and Yadrintsev formed a legal opposition to Russian colonialism in Siberia; they wrote many books and articles, and organized research into Siberian cultures, economics, ethnicities, races, etc. Yadrintsev's greatest book, Siberia as a colony (Сибирь как колония), envisaged the future of Siberia as domination of the white race and a European way of development, similar to the U.S., claiming that the Siberians already had many differences from their Russian and East-Slavic ancestors — especially cultural differences such as love of freedom and private initiative. |

The majority of North Asia is flat plains with a few exceptions. The Ural Mountains start at the Arctic coast of western Russia and extend south until the Kazakh border, and there are hills in the far east and near the Mongolian border. The Arctic coast is, of course, Arctic, and most if not all of the region experiences some degree of winter.

Strategy[]
Start out as Russia, and justify a liberation war against any of the Baltic countries. I suggest
Estonia, for they're usually not a player. In the meantime, build 1 motor on Omsk and 1 steel on Novosibirsk, as they produce more resources on these cities, along with building recruitment centers on all of
Siberia. As Siberia, let alone all of Eastern Russia, it is a very Mountainous and cold region, so after making some infantry, make sure to train with mountain specialization, saving tanks for the part of Northern
Kazakhstan you need. Start out by moving south, taking northern Kazakhstan first , as there's an abundance of resources in the area. After, move into
Tuva and invade using your mountain troops, as it serves as a small monetary boost. Next, start your invasion into the
Urals,
Bashkortostan and
Yugra, as these are more likely to be taken by some European power such as
Germany or
Ukraine. After this, start moving East into
Buryatia and
Yakutia, using mainly infantry as they are very mountainous regions. Finally, start moving into the
Far Eastern Republic. Focus on the South, taking main cities such as Vladivostok and Khabarovsk, because you can use the force peace mechanic to take all of the North. You can also use the technique with infantry of sailing to the coastal cities along Kamchatka without actually landing to take them swiftly.
Be mindful however that during all this, China is most likely a player, and a collapsed Russia is a gateway for Chinese expansion, so be wary of China. You can try allying them at the beginning, and if they decline, you can try allying with their enemies, which is usually
Japan or
India. If they invade, utilize your mountainous terrain, taking up Stalwart Defense as a doctrine, along with a tactic of scorched earth, as most of Siberia is very barren & full of poor terrain.
With China successfully out of the way, and taking all of the required lands, Congratulations! You've successfully formed the United States of North Asia!
