The United States of South America (USSA) is a continental formable encompassing all of South America 
, including its overseas territories.
It is an exceptionally powerful formable, boasting vast resource deposits, significant manpower, and a strong economy. 
Brazil is the most commonly used nation to form it, as it is the dominant power in the region. However, Brazil's initial status as a Democracy presents a challenge, as stability loss when declaring war can hinder efforts to unite such a large formable.
The formable was controversially removed in the 11/11/2022 Update (November 11, 2022) due to its basis in an economic organization,[1] which violated the formable criteria. Despite widespread community outrage and strong disapproval, the Suggestions Council, which was responsible for the removal, remained steadfast in its decision. However, as the council's member composition changed over time, the formable was later reintroduced in the 03/06/2025 Update (March 6, 2025).

The United States of South America has a total of 911 cities. With all cities combined, the total population becomes a staggering 250,303,085 inhabitants. Some of the biggest cities in this formable are: São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Lima, and Santiago.

Argentina. There is also Semi-Mountainous terrain, located in southern 
Chile, the tip of south-eastern and eastern coastline of 
Peru, almost all of 
Ecuador and the areas of Colombia bordering the coast except for its northern coast. The rest is flat.
Biome[]
Jungle is very prominent in the USSA. It covers all of the Guiana countries, Ecuador, almost all of Colombia except for its northern tip, Venezuela except for the west, Eastern and Northern Bolivia, Northern and Eastern Peru and almost all of Brazil. Other than the Jungle, there's the Arid biome, which covered central and northern Chile, the area surrounding Bolivia's capital of Sucre, and much of southern Peru. The rest of the areas not mentioned or were listed as exceptions are in the normal biome.

The USSA produced 10 aluminium, 37 copper, 8 gold, 10 iron, 99.37 oil, 4 phosphate, 1 titanium and 4 tungsten. This makes the USSA extremely rich in resources, allowing you to build and mobilize any unit or almost any factory.

Threats[]
- Carribean Countries expanding into
French Guiana, Guyana, and Suriname to form the Union of Caribbean States. However, they need some cities in Venezuela and Colombia. - Confederate States of America requires Colombia and Venezuela to form the Golden Circle.
- Mexico could be a expansionist and invading the Spanish Countries in South America to form the Patria Grande since Mexico is the easiest country to form.
- Netherlands annexing Guyana and Suriname for Dutch Empire.
- Portugal invading Brazil, French Guiana, and Uruguay to form the Portuguese Empire.
- Spain requires the Spanish Countries in South America to form the Spanish Empire.
- United Kingdom can invade Falkland Islands if left unchecked and Guyana to form the British Empire.
Strategy[]
Starting as Brazil[]
- Start as Brazil, and annex Uruguay, to form the Empire of Brazil. While justifying, build 2-4 electronic factories, and a steel and motor factory. Due to you being Democratic, your income should be very high, and therefore, you can probably also build a fertilizer factory and a few civilian factories.
- Then bring your infantry up to the north and annex French Guiana, Suriname, and Guyana.
- After annexing French Guiana and Guyana, attack Colombia and Venezuela before anyone like the Republic of Central America, the Mexican Empire, or the North American Union attacks them.
- After annexing north of South America , annex Peru, but by this time, someone like the North American Union might have declared war on you.
- If the North American Union does, then advance through the Americas to gradually reach him, or launch numerous naval invasions, hopefully protected by at least one battleship or a few submarines or destroyers.
- If you overwhelmed him, is it best to white peace him, as unless they have territories in South America , it's not worth your time to conquer the rest of the North American Union, because you're busy forming the USSA.

- Once you have annexed Peru, conquer Chile and Argentina.
- Once you have successfully united all of South America , it's time to form United States of South America (USSA)!
Starting as Argentina[]
- First, you should industrialize. Build 2-3 electronic factories and 1 steel and motor factory.
- Then, you should go attack Chile for its titanium.
- After annexing Chile, form if Brazil hasn't attacked you yet (or is AI which is unlikely) go for Bolivia for the tungsten.
- If Brazil does attack you, use Chile's mountains and put some artillery there. And if you have made some tanks by that point, utilize them. If you were unable to get Chile before Brazil attacked you then make artillery, hold defenensive positions around its border and your capital, and hope for the best.
- If
- You could also take the Falkland Islands and form Rio de la Plata if you need stability, as Patagonia as a formable was removed.
- After doing that ordeal is over, conquer Paraguay and Uruguay which shouldn't be a problem, as they are small nations which are rarely players that can easily be squashed by tanks.
- Then, you go for Brazil using your tanks. Train them for the Jungle before you declare war, however, as Brazil is infested with it.
- Before setting them to auto capture, though, move them to attack the biggest cities so they won't be a problem.
- After you have annexed Brazil go get all the other countries which should be of no concern, and you have successfully formed the USSA!

- The United States of South America had a previous flag, but it was switched due to it having the exact replicate design as Venezuela.
- On the 11/21/22 update, the USSA was removed before being considered for readdition on 3/4/25, and readded on 3/6/2025. People who have previously formed it also have it as completed formable.
