Uzbekistan is a Tier III nation located in Central Asia .
Uzbekistan possesses many geographical advantages and resources which can be exploited to allow it to rise into a great power in Asia. The nation can form the Khanate of Khiva to further get even bigger geographic advantages and more population. Due to the isolated nature of Central Asia with barely anyone playing or expanding into the area, Uzbekistan can grow relatively peacefully and prepare itself for war with other nations.
Despite having many geographical advantages and resources, it can be overpowered by a competent Russia,
China,
Iran or
India player. Many people often don't play Uzbekistan due to Russia requiring it to form either the
Soviet Union or
Russian Empire, the low population count, general weakness in manpower and lack of expansion routes if other countries do expand into Central Asia.
Background[]
Uzbekistan is a country in Central Asia. It is surrounded by five landlocked countries: Kazakhstan to the north; Kyrgyzstan to the northeast; Tajikistan to the southeast; Afghanistan to the south and Turkmenistan to the south-west. Along with Liechtenstein, it is one of two doubly landlocked countries.
As a sovereign state, Uzbekistan is a secular, unitary constitutional republic. It comprises 12 provinces (Vilayats) and one autonomous republic, Karakalpakstan. The capital and largest city of Uzbekistan is Tashkent.
The Uzbek economy is in a gradual transition to the market economy, with foreign trade policy being based on import substitution. In September 2017, the country's currency became fully convertible at market rates. Uzbekistan is a major producer and exporter of cotton. With the gigantic power-generation facilities of the Soviet era and an ample supply of natural gas, Uzbekistan has become the largest electricity producer in Central Asia. As of late 2018, the republic was given a BB- rating by both Standard and Poor (S&P) and Fitch. Strengths indicated by Brookings Institution include Uzbekistan having large liquid assets, high economic growth and low public debt. Among the constraints holding the republic back are low GDP per capita, something the government could influence by changing how it accounts for sectors of the economy not currently included.

Geography[]
Terrain[]
The country is flat.
Biome[]
Uzbekistan is Arid.
Borders[]
The country borders Kazakhstan,
Kyrgyzstan,
Tajikistan, and
Turkmenistan.
Cities[]
Uzbekistan has 20 cities, 6 of those cities belonging to the Karakalpakstan releasable in the east of the country. Suprisingly, 2 cities, Fargona and Namangan, have the exact same population. They are located near the capital Tashkent.
Strategies[]
Playing as Uzbekistan is actually easier than would be anticipated. It is very full abundant with resources, good for early game tanks and virtually no chance of low stability from consumer good factories.
Expansion[]
China rushing you would seem very common, but surprisingly,
China will likely leave you be, but this leaves you a very good opportunity. The very first conquests you want are against
Tajikistan and
Kyrgyzstan, which people rarely play for reasons similar to Uzbekistan. Your next conquest, if
Russia has not already, conquer
Kazakhstan. This may seem bold, but the natural resources there are plentiful. Although this may drive conflict with
Russia or
China, it's worth it. Then go after
Turkmenistan, fairly easy to do at your size, and then form the
Khanate of Khiva, which gives 10% more stability, which is nice.
Next up, Afghanistan. At this point you want to make your way to Timurid Empire, which is going to be very late game but very rewarding, and
Afghanistan is the first step. conquering it is very easy, also giving you more perimeter around
Iran (for later), and if
India has not made a move, take
Pakistan. It is impossible to emphasize how important this is, it doubles your population, and as such is a must. Once you have gotten that down, make your way up top to
Azerbaijan,
Armenia, and
Georgia, some easy pickups, and then slam
Iran. We have all been waiting for it, and here it is. It will take about half a year, but Iran has resources and is easy to defend. From here swiftly take out
Iraq and
Kuwait, then form the
Timurid Empire. At this point, it is very late game, and you should have allies because
Russia,
China, and
India are laying their hungry eyes on you. Line your borders and wait for war. If
China has already broken up, which it does a lot, take all of it over, including
Mongolia, then drive your way to
India.
Germany or
Poland at this point are likely to have taken
Russia, so yet again line your borders with a thick layer of infantry and tanks once you have taken
India. If
Russia had gone to early game war, try to change your capital Afghanistan's capital and see if Russia just annexes what you have.
Threats[]
Russia trying to form the
USSR or the
Russian Empire (RARE)
Iran or
Turkmenistan forming the
Khwarazmian Dynasty (EXTREMELY RARE)
Tajikistan forming the
Kushan Empire,
Hephthalite Empire or the
Samanid Empire (VERY RARE)
Kazakhstan forming the Turkic Khaganate (VERY RARE)
Afghanistan being a skilled player, and while being extremely rare, they still need your lands to form the
Kushan Empire
China just being expansionist (COMMON)
Mongolia foming the
Mongol Empire (EXTREMELY RARE)
